A new month, and a new cold caller list. Well, we say “cold caller list” but those who have seen the list before know that we also mention other companies such as dubious Holiday clubs and companies connected to cold callers.
August was a very long and hot month, and it seems that not many dubious companies went on a break as we still had an activity registered of 109 companies. 28 of the active companies are brand new names on our lists.

For us August 2014 was a special month as we published our article 1000. So that is a thousand of warnings we have published since February 2011. We can only guess how many people have not fallen for the different scams thanks to research on the web and finding our articles & comments.
As the activity of the so called (fake) liquidators and fake notaries hasn’t ceased and more and more consumers wrote to us worried about what these fake companies were telling them. But some of them have only been mentioned in the past days and we are looking for more information. So if you recognize a name on the list of a cold call you received, please do let us know.

My parents have been contacted by a company called Phoenix Mediation Services, they say their company registration number is B93344307 and website is http://www.phoenixmediationservices.com. They’ve asked my parents to email all the documents they have regarding their timeshare and the companies who have taken money off of them. They seem to know a lot about my parents dealings and cold called them. I presume this Company too is another scam or do you know any different? Your help would be appreciated. I don’t want to see my elderly parents get ripped off again. Many thanks.

just enquiring about the Reclaim Ltd that has gone into liquidation as per your message in April 2014. I would like to know how long does it take for the creditors to be advised by the administrators , in this care PriceWaterhouse Cooper. I have contacted them a few times but all I get from them is that they are still waiting for the accounts. Do you have any more information as to what is going on with the administration of Reclaim Ltd. Your assisatnce much appreciated. Regards
