Signature Havens – a safe haven for holiday makers?

signature

Signature Havens is not a totally new fly buy company as we already knew about them in June 2014, although they seem to be more active from September onward with cold calling.

Signature Havens, supply a contact telephone number 0843 207 98 28 and as address they claim to be in Calpe in Spain. We have though found indications that they are in Alfaz del Pi, which is the same location of several other Fly Buy operators such as Resort Care Europe.( https://mindtimeshare.me/?s=resort+care+europe )

The company is actually registered under the number CIF B-54750724 at the Spanish Companies House.

They also have a website:  www.signaturehavens.com which does not give away a lot of details of what they offer or who they are.

As it seems they use the same pitch as some other  companies did before, cold calling timeshare owners and telling them the old story of weeks that the consumer still has to bank. By this these companies are automatically creating the sensation of being connected to either exchange companies or the home resort of the consumer.

The latest offer of this company to consumers is though a 2 weeks package of a supposed promotional holiday accommodation, for £500 and a validation of 2 years and 11 months.

Consumers who are contacted by Signature Havens or other similar companies should know that these fly buy companies usually offer promotional holidays, which means that during the holiday the consumer will have to attend an obligatory sales presentation (hard selling) for different kind of memberships, as holiday clubs or discount travel membership clubs.

Each month we receive reports from a number of consumers who left such a presentation with another membership in their pocket and less money in their wallet, not yet to speak about the possibility of holidaying satisfactorily with those companies.

Many times there are also hidden booking restrictions, as age (sales) qualifications and other requirements, which make it difficult to access the desired destination, and often the promised 4 and 5 star accommodation is not what it should be or the desired destinations are not available and instead other inferior accommodation is offered.

AS USUAL MAKE SURE NOT TO MAKE ANY PAYMENTS UPFRONT AS LONG AS YOU ARE NOT SURE ABOUT THE CONDITIONS OF THE PRODUCT OR SERVICES YOU ARE PAYING FOR!

If you were contacted by Signature Havens under telephone number 08432079828 with any offer, please let us know! We would like to hear about your experience.

Why are they still allowed too do this? I was at my parents house today and they hit them with a you must pay us some money now or we will take money out of your acount in December. I grabbed the phone on the 5 time they rang and asked how much money and when was this taken out of my 74 year old fathers acount and the lady on the phone said in a sarcastic voice are you woried about your inheritance. This must be stopped they are criminals. 29 10 2015

Signiture Havens contacted me approx 3 times a month about weeks I had purchased from another company in the past, which have now expired and they want me to pay £500 to renew these. I am constantly being harassed by this company to the extent that I agreed to pay a lesser payment of £300 just to get rid of them but I cancelled my card right away so they couldn’t take payment. Now they say I owe them this money because I entered a verbal contract with them!
I told the woman that I have no intention of paying them and good luck trying to take money from a cancelled card and to stop calling me. She told me they would continue to call me until I paid this. They have also withheld their number!
Any ideas what I can do about this anyone?
They are basically demanding money with menaces!

I have just had a call from Signature Havens who gave me a very similar “tale” to those apparently given to others. On telling them I had got rid of my Time Share points he said they woul call me back. MAYBE ?. Ether way this has to be just another outfit to steer well clear of.

Called by Darren at signature havens who claimed I had had £400 of previous holiday time with them that I unfortunately had been unable to use. (That would have been superior resorts, not signature havens) This did not stop him trying to persuade me into depositing another £400 for against another potential holiday. He passed me on to the manageress who also declined to give me anything against the expired £400. When she went off to check something I hung up and got on with my day.

  5. Peter says:

Signature Havens called and offered me a holiday for £349 and I said no thanks and they then offered a free week in a number of resorts in Tenerife so said I would think about it and then read up on them through you.
So what is this all about ?

i was tel’d by Sig havens. They offered three weeks of accommodation for up to six. I asked for booking in a GB resort which they did. I checked with the resort on St Martins, Scilly. There was a reservation. I wanted some sort of proof of the full stay being paid for by S Havens. They promised they would do that by sending me the booking direct from the Hotel. It never arrived and over a few weeks they came up with various reasons why they couldn’t do that ti=iuntil I had payed for the three weeks.
I have just finished a conversation with them and they are still pushing me to make a payment of £399, or £399 , I forget which. I have not received any ‘proof’ of the stay at Karma St Martins being covered. My worry was that I would stay and then be faced with a bill for several thousand pounds. I could accept any ‘hard sale’ promotion at the hotel. I could not rest easy with the way the SHavens people were not able to give me any encouragement via proof of being a bona-fide company. It all smacked of the old holiday scam thing yet again.

I was not in a very good place last Friday as I am recovering from a serious illness where I nearly died. I was also waiting for someone to call to see me and because Signature haven knew so much about me I felt it was genuine so I stupidly in a rush which I felt was to their advantage gave my Credit card details and they debited £360 to my account. It was only when my visitor had left I started to feel uncomfortable so I tried calling the telephone number they quoted, but it just went over to voicemail (In Spanish). It was then I realised I had been sc*****. I called my Credit Card company and cancelled my card thank God they only debited £360, I am now waiting to deal with my C/Card company this Friday to contest the charge. Do you have any ideas where you can help?
    Thank you

As long as it’s a card issued by a uk institution you are covered world wide. There are no give me’ s you need agreements and proof of a link but it’s a powerful way to get your money back using section 75 and charge backs
