Exclusive weeks, another fly buy Company belonging to the Easy Consulting Group

exclusive

There is a lot of activity with the cold calling fly buy companies, who all seem to be on a mission to book the winter space in the timeshare resorts.

Numerous new names pop up daily and the offers are becoming more and more promising.

One of these names that popped up is from the company Exclusive Weeks. This company is cold calling and as all the others, offers luxury accommodation worldwide for really competitive prices.

It is always recommendable though to do research on the web and make sure that the Terms and Conditions are clear before paying any money towards these kinds of offers.

Exclusive Weeks has a website where these Terms and Conditions can be looked up http://exclusiveweeks.co.uk/tandc.php

It is clear that Exclusive Weeks is part of the Easy Consulting Group, a group to which a lot of other cold calling companies belong such as Bonus Weeks Breaks, The Gift Company, Extra Weeks, Anu Corporate, Easy Consulting, The All Inclusive Club, Direct Resort International, Sponsored Weeks and Sponsored Breaks.

What these companies have in common with Exclusive weeks is the cold call and the fact that it is not always made clear that the Holiday Presentation is an obligation, you need to travel in a couple and you cannot take two weeks together.

Not to mention that often people are given the impression that the cold calling company has something to do with their timeshare resort or exchange company.

Please always do your research before handing over through the phone your credit card details for offers that sound too good to be true.

If you have been approached by Exclusive Weeks from 0800 198 4001 or 0800 070 5116 then please let us know.

    • S D says:

We get constant calls from Exclusive Weeks and from various numbers – today’s was 01244 752680 but it varies and they are driving us mad. They always say that it is because of our time share but they can’t tell us which company we are with!
We keep telling them to stop calling but they carry on. They also often ask us why we haven’t used our “free” weeks that we apparently have with them!
Complete pain and we’ve reported them to TPS but suspect that won’t stop them.

  3. G.C says:

Just received cold call from Exclusive Weeks offering 3 weeks from £90 per week but 2 4 1as our bonus weeks were expiring. They gave the impression they had something to do with RCI.and Diamond. We refused to book or pay for a week until we had looked further into their company. Sounds as if we did the right thing..Last week we had calls from Luxury Links. Are they connected.?

  4. David says:

01892597780 EXCLUSIVE WEEKS, Persistent to say the least,I’ve been conned before ,so I,m wary of these people now, just can’t get round the fact that they are still operating.it was extra weeks who done us the last time.

  5. Margaret says:

I’ve been approached on one of the numbers you mention and have purchased 1 week. I was advised I would receive confirmation by email and paper copies in the mail in approx 7-10 days. This was two days ago and to date I’ve not yet received email confirmation. Should I be concerned?

  6. Liz says:

Exclusive weeks have rung me twice and inverted they have ring due to my diamond resorts membership. Their offer is good, but I am not convinced of their cred ability. Is it Scam or a real offer?

  7. marian says:

Hi had a phone call from the 0800 070 5216 number someone called Eliot offering a 2 bed £99 week

  8. marian says:

Hi had a phone call from the 0800 070 5216 number someone called Eliot offering a 2 bed £99 week

  9. Dot says:

I have been contacted by Exclusive weeks.Offering me 3 weeks for £238 +3x£20 flightvouchers I asked them to email me info before I accept. I dont think i will be accepting their offer. I guess if it is too good to believe then it is.

  10. Stuart says:

I get regular calls from Exclusive Weeks, among other companies. Today, a lad called Connor (really?) called from 01254731080. Last week, I had a call from the same company from 02393650118. Other calls from them have been from various UK geographic numbers. Every time I answer, I tell them I’m not interested and the next time it’s the same company calling from a totally different number.
I owned a timeshare in Tenerife (can’t remember the resort name now) and did a couple of exchanges with RCI in the ’90s, but it must have been 20+ years ago that I manged to get rid the timeshare – at a huge loss – and cancel my RCI membership. How did these people get my number? And how can I get the calls stopped? I’m registered with TPS, but with the amount of calls I get I might as well have not bothered.

  11. Valerie says:

I have also been co**** with this company how do they get your phone number etc as I am ex directory they make you believe they are from your resort

  12. Brian says:

I’ve just nearly been conned by them. I thought we’d booked a holiday 2 condsecutive weeks but too many lies flagged up danger signs.
I was able to cancel the transaction before it went through.
Why isn’t ABTA on to them, they are being paid by our government or out of our holiday payment.
    Job for Watchdog?
    Regards, Brian

  13. David says:

I keep getting calls from exclusive weeks, despite telling them I’m not interested, they keep saying”we have 3 weeks on hold, that’s just about to expire

  14. Graham says:

Thought I would never be scammed but I have been. Exclusive Weeks offered 3 weeks at £99.00 + VAT per week and that I could take 2 weeks if required, they lied. By the time they had taken my money they then denied that I could take 2 weeks at a time (except at a small number of locations and only if available). I requested the recordings of the telephone conversations which would prove my point but they only had the ones that they talk about 3 individual weeks which as I have said was after they had taken my money, the other telephone conversations apparently were not recorded? This was requested under data protection law. At one point when asking for a refund they almost laughed when I was told that they do not have to give a 14 day cooling off period because of DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS which has a loophole for this type of business. Please set up a signature site for signatures to change the Distance Selling Regulations so it can be presented to Parliament and stop this type of selling.

  15. Karen says:

Hi they just called me. Offered me compensation and three weeks for 168 pounds and said no presentations and also guarantees I will get where I want if I book out with a 6 week motive period. Been scammed before. They’ve sent an email too. Are they genuine? Thanks

    • John says:

I have been called by exclusive weeks from 01892597780.I am an ex timeshare owner at anfi grandcanaria.they are offering me 3 weeks at £168 for being an ex owner.are they legal.yours gratefully John.

  16. Pauline says:

My husband spent £376 last Friday. Was told complete lies aBout where we could go on holiday.

Called them, emailed them for a refund. We are within 14 day cool off period so are entitled to a refund but they just dont reply.

    Avoid at all costs

  17. Sylvia says:

I have just had a call from exclusive weeks and tempted to book this £99 they say they can get me in where I want and when is this true.

  18. Joanne says:

I was called today, offered these 3 weeks on a 3 for 2 offer. Obviously wary as was stung by club la Costa, £99 per week. As usual thought it too good to be true. Jo

  19. ray says:

Just been contacted. Read their terms and conditions. Have to attend a presentation. More concerning is that I am responsible for all damage to the apartment I occupy. This condition is not qualified so if the apartment burns down or is damaged by a break in, all out of my control, I am responsible for the cost of the damage. O won’t be booking with them.

    • Sylvia says:

You are only responsible for damage you do yourself. It is checked after you leave. It’s the same whoever you go with.

  20. Jayne says:

Phoned and emailed today. Checked your page and wonder why you say to contact you if from this number. Told i could have 3 sepoerate or together weeks, advused i would want uk, offered alk 3 for £168 uo to 6 people. Please advise with more info.
    Thanks.

  21. Ron says:

    • Pamela says:

      Hi

I often get calls from Exclusive Weeks. Spoke to a chap called. Ben then Laura Jones on 0800 9506230 ext 221. £300+ approx for 3.weeks. Said I can take them together if full board or all inclusive. We wanted self catering and said we can’t take weeks together and would have to rent the rest. Which doesn’t make it a good offer.

If I can’t rent more weeks I am stuck with 7 days but of course they say I will be able to rent extra weeks and stay in the same apartment. I’m not hopeful that it will work out but they don’t give up. Best to leave well alone I think.

      Pamela

    • Sylvia says:

Yes this is what I am doing .have done in the past no problems. Meeting couple of hours at most.

  24. Peter says:

another foolish person ,had a time share in Edinburgh which they somehow knew about, & trusted them. with a deposit for elsewhere but not for any of the places they listed on their activation form. pete may2018

  25. David says:

Just been called today by this company but on a different number 01244 752680 with the same kind of offers , 3 weeks for £99.00 each.

  26. Reg says:

I was cold called last Thursday by Elliot, and told I was entitled to 3 weeks to be used within 3 years, £120 per week. Said I would check Web site and think about offer, Called again today, last day of offer, passed to Lucy, who said I could reserve all 3 weeks for £238, ie 3 for 2. Said I would get back on 08000705116 by closing time of 3pm. I have not rung back, They have just rung me again. Thanks for the warning. How do they get our details?

  27. Brian says:

    I have just had a call from 0800 070 5116.
I paid for some all inclusive weeks a few years back. I had one week holiday in Malta which I wasn’t impressed with.
Because I haven’t booked any other weeks they have offered to upgrade me to self catering for £299.000 + vat saying unlike the all inclusive weeks I wouldn’t have any more to pay and the 28 days would roll over.
    Advice please
    Brian

  28. Pauline says:

I have been approached by this company advising tgat i have not used my bonus weeks despite me not havibg time shade since 2016 Offered me 4 weeks world wide to be used over 3 yrs cost is £299
Con i believe so …. am i right?

  29. Pamela says:

Exclusive Weeks rang today offering 2,consequetive weeks to wherever we wanted for £236. Said no presentation as VIP weeks. Said apartment sleeps to 6. Also offered £20 off flight each. I didn’t pay anything as said I would check the out. Didn’t want to lose my money it sounded too good to be true. Please advise me if they are bogus. Thank you they are based not Yorkshire at 6 Thorns Office Park. Wakefield, Yorkshire WS2 7AN but I’ve seen a different address on linrpe of No6 at a different street but same postcode.

  30. Trevor says:

As there are no entries for 2018 I will add my name to the list of people who have been called by Exclusive Weeks. Hard work to get them off the phone!

  31. Sue says:

I have paid for 8 weeks accommodation with this company on the understanding that we could take our dog to Scotland next August for our son’s wedding. We were also told the weeks would be valid indefinitely and no further fees payable. The confirmation came through with an expiry date of October 2020. This was queried and told it would roll over. We have had the same happen before with All Inclusive and Extra time on line who constantly ask for more money! I was told there would be a short product update at the accommodation but not a full presentation. I informed them this would not be practical as our dog would be barking. I suspect we’ve been sca**** again. I think I should cancel the credit card payment.
Thanks for any advice you can give
    Sue

  32. Mrs B ***** says:

I was contacted by a charming Dutch gentleman last night. He intimated that he was in contact with Mac Donald co .We had a 3 weeks time share with them but could not re sell our weeks
so eventually had to pay £6,ooo to MacDonalds to get rid of them. We had the weeks for 20 years but increasing maintenance costs and our age made it impossible to use the weeks. I asked for their offer to be emailed to me and he knew my email gen without asking me for it. How?
    Tels forwarded were; 0800 198 4001 and 0800 070 5116.

    • Pascale says:

Yes, contacted by Exclusive weeks on 0800 070 5116, signed up for 3 breaks for 130 Euros on my Mastercard.

Can I get my money back as I used a Credit card?

      • Pascale says:

Also, I have an activation form to complete before the end of the month or my account will be cancelled without recompense.

      • Sylvia says:

Why not use the weeks booked then. Was there a problem booking. Sylvie

  33. Christine says:

Exclusive weeks rang tonight, I said I was a member of sponsored weeks and she put the phone down. They are all the same firm, I have paid twice, cant believe it! Had 3 nights in Stratford on Avon and the most awful EZE group presentation to attend, lasted all day nearly. Then a nice few days in the lake district, with a pleasant short talk to attend. I have now 5 weeks outstanding to take, but sadly cant go to Barcelona with them as I have already attended an EZE group talk. (No timeshare means the British resorts are out for us). I`m having to pay for myself at the same hotel they use as already done an EZE group talk within the last three years. They don’t tell you when you are buying the weeks, its hard, and I want to go to Madeira, but that’s not available for me for some reason.

  34. Val says:

I was called by this company last night on 01223646291. They said I was entitled to 3 weeks holiday for £99 as I was in the Diamond Group. She said part of my maintenance fees were held back.by my timeshare company for offers such as these!!! I told her my fees had nothing to do with any other company. I said this was just a c** and I would check with my resort. I didn’t bother as I knew it was a sc**. She then said I had to pay £118 or I would lose these weeks. Told her I wasn’t interested. I have received many calls like this and they are so annoying!

    Val

  35. Owen says:

Exclusive Weeks. Address on their website does not include this company as a tenant. All they do is cold call to say you have weeks already booked and you’ll lose them if you don’t pay more money. Even if you ask them not to call again they keep on.

  36. Brian says:

Yes we’ve been contacted a number of times from the 0800 0705116 number. We have been assured that it is not Timeshare, there is no obligation to attend any “sales” meeting and we can choose to upgrade to fully inclusive for just a few Euro’s extra. Needless to say we are not interested but they will not take NO for an answer.

  37. Jill says:

I was contacted by them yesterday; I wasn’t 100% certain they were legit but listened to what she said. She said that I’d already paid £900 towards “extra holidays” and if I didn’t book soon I would lose them. I said I wasn’t in any position to book a holiday and so she asked if I wanted her to “delete” them from the system (I had already asked if I could see what she was referring to on the RCI website, but she said no, which obviously raised a red flag in my mind), I told her yes, go ahead and delete them. I’m sure this tactic works to get people to hastily book an extra holiday for fear of losing out, but I’m afraid she hung up without getting a sale from me.

  38. Mervyn says:

Just been cold called from 01223646291 for the fourth time (ignored the earlier 3 as did not recognise the number) to be told I was entitled to book free weeks because part of the maintenance fee I paid for my timeshare went towards this entitlement to free weeks! When I hesitated and said I had not heard of this she persisted for a while then just hung up! Didn’t even say Goodbye – how rude! I guessed it was a sc**, and so it seems.

  39. Gill says:

We have this morning been contacted by exclusive weeks and they have given me the 0800 079 5116 number this morning.

We have not done anything with them & won’t be doing either. When will these people give up?

  40. Ve says:

If you have been approached by Exclusive Weeks from 0800 198 4001 or 0800 070 5116 then please let us know.

Just been called by this company. Is it a sc**.

  41. Owen says:

Just called by them. Initially said they were Diamond Resorts, when questioned said that they are sold weeks by the resorts as a gift to regular clients but soon went onto me having to buy the weeks. Rather worrying that they knew my telephone number and email address. Told them I wasn’t interested but then received an email thanking me for my interest. 1471 indicated 01223 646291. Resorts Direct?

  42. Maureen says:

This company are still calling ,a Lucy Edwards was very persuasive and I almost went on to purchase 4 weeks for the price of 3. She told me there was a vast choice of resorts 41 in Tenerife alone. There would definitely not be any presentations and the company are ABTA registered. I have read the terms and conditions and no reference to ABTA registered and definitely a presentation to attend which if you fail to attend could result in being charged the full rate for the accommodation. No untruths in that cold call then! Beware.

  43. John says:

We have been cold called by Matthew Cooper from Exclusive Weeks. Having read the comments/advice n this website have decided not to touch his proposal. Using 0800 070 5116.

  44. Nick says:

I stupidly paid these sca***** £118 by credit card before discovering that their offer was conditional on attending a sales presentation. They have refused to refund the money and as the travel industry appears to be exempt from Distance Selling Regulations, it looks as if they are going to get away with it. Very annoying! Do not have anything to do with them.

  45. Davina says:

I was called too told it was £99 then added VAT said taking £118 my credit card took £123.73 was told this is because the credit card used a inferior exchange rate they won’t give me a refund of the difference
The website is rubbish can’t even see any locations in Germany and there are only 2 resorts in America
Just waiting for a call back to see what they will do next if I don’t get a refund I will contact my credit card

  46. Philip says:

Just cold-called by a Matthew Cooper from Exclusive Weeks. Offer is 3 weeks available over 3 years at £99/week. All because of my long timeshare ownership.
    Now using phone line 0800 070 5116

  47. faye says:

Have been called and recalled (at my request) several times; and yes they definitely said they were to do with existing time share, actually told me that the weeks they offered were only because we were such long term/big spenders with existing timeshare. Really glad I found mindtimeshare.me. Offers do sound good though three weeks at £99 per week.
IS IT A SCAM THOUGH? -ANY ADVISE WELCOME.- PLEASE.

  48. Gill says:

Just had a call from this company sent him off with a flea in his ear. He certainly didn’t want to take no for an answer

  49. Stephen says:

This company cold called me today but used a different telephone number 08000243199. I take its a scam.

  50. Elizabeth says:

I have just paid £118 for 3 weeks on my credit card. Is this not a genuine offer as I will put up with a presentation as I have no intention of buying more timeshare. Will they honor the weeks or is it a scam? Website is www,exclusiveweeks.com

    • Cynthia says:

We paid them last year but cannot get hold of them to book anything as their answerphone asks you to ring back in office hours (Mon-Fri 9-5) even when you ARE ringing at those times! Am about to check how we paid for this and if it is misselling will try to claim it back on credit card

  51. Mark says:

Avoid any of these companies like the plague.

We paid them around £1,000 for a membership and received a full refund from our credit card refund under the misselling act.

  52. Julia says:

I have been ****** into buying 4 weeks from exclusive weeks
