A new twist to the story of Global Liquidation Services has been pointed out to us by worried Timeshare owners.

After dealing first with Global Liquidation Services and paying an upfront fee of around £2000 to get the sale completed, the owners are notified after some weeks that unfortunately the sale had fallen through. If initially they assured the buyers were there, paid already a part of the purchase and everything was in order, all off the sudden due to financial problems the sale did not happen at all.

But not to worry, a new company is brought into the scene and by the name of Excursions Online.

Excursions Online quickly calls the timeshare owner and brings some good news to the story. As it seems Excursions Online is a Travel Club that offers a “One Stop Shop” to their members. Everything can be booked by them from flights to accommodation and all related to holidays.

The agent from Excursions Online goes through a lengthy explanation on how the company works and assures the Timeshare owner they have been around for 8 years of which 6 years they have been ABTA bonded and also with the ETD European Timeshare Directive. (this is a law…not really something you are affiliated or bonded to!)

Excursions Online is buying inventory at all kinds of resorts in order to fulfil the increasing requests from their members. So the timeshare owner will be selling to Excursions Online directly and things can be done in a matter of days.

The good news is as well that Excursions Online is willing to honour the (inflated) sales price offered by Global Liquidation Services plus the already paid security bond of £2000. Who can say no to such a good offer?

Excursions Online has a telephone number 0161 713 3467 and claims to be based in Manchester.  We have not been able to find any company by this name in Manchester or anywhere.

Their email is excursionsonline@gmail.com which seems a bit odd for an online business with supposedly 8 years of experience and working websites. When asking for the website address the agent kindly informs that this will come up when you put in Excursion Online in Google…yes, with about 10 million matches we would say!

So what is the catch if there is one at all?

Once the Timeshare owner has been convinced that Excursions Online is going to take this great offer forward, he is requested to fill in the “transfer form” and supply certain information that should be on the form. But throughout the conversation it turns out that the Timeshare owner has the “wrong form”.

After blaming the resort for not providing the owner with the correct paperwork in order to avoid any sales and benefits made by the timeshare owner….the only possible way to get this transfer done is using the Spanish lawyers from excursions Online in Benalmadena. And yes…you guessed right…this will cost money! How much? Another £2000!!!

But for that the timeshare owner will have legal service, a notary stamped documents and the possibility to receive the sales price plus the deposit back from Global Liquidation.

PLEASE, THERE IS NO SALE! There is no missing paperwork ,do not believe this story and certainly do NOT send any further money to this company.

If ever a company claims you are missing paperwork…well contact your resort. But don’t ever pay any money to a company that cannot be found on the internet, cold calls and claims they will be paying you a big sum of money if you just pay certain fees to get “paperwork sorted”.
