Who wants to claim through Smart Financial Claims?

SFC

Another cold calling Claims company has been brought to our attention and the name of this company is Smart Financial Claims.

They present themselves as a Claims Company although we have been unable to find any Company Registration at the UK Companies House for a Smart Financial Claims Ltd.

The usual pitch has been used here which we have seen before by so many other cold callers, who seem to have an awful lot of information about the consumer and their dealings with dubious companies. Information that is not really openly available to anybody.

Smart Financial Claims send of all kind of informative documents after the first call with the consumer. But in spite of all this information there is not really a lot about the company itself, such as an office address or registration numbers.

All the consumer receives is an email address info@smartfinancialclaims.com and a telephone number: 01792 824508 or Fax: 0843 2653950

The domain name www.smartfinancialclaims.com was registered on the first of October 2014 and the website is not live.

Although Smart Financial Claims does not mention any upfront payments to get the claim going, it is certainly questionable if it would be recommendable for a consumer to provide them with personal details and paperwork, seen the fact that this company is not duly identified at all.

Sending your personal information to a company who cold calls you out of the blue, and only provides you with a phone number and an email address….it just doesn’t sound right.

If you have been contacted by Smart Financial Claims from 01792824508 then please do let us know.

We were called by Amy Livingstone, very believable, Spanish translation charges and a call from a Spanish sounding lawyer who is supposedly handling the court case, then gone! I would love to assist to get these b—s into court themselves.

    • Polly says:

So would I ! But where are they now. They were in Swansea, allegedly, but disappeared. All bank accounts bogus which have now been dealt with by relevant banks except Metrobank who were very uncooperative . I reported them to Actionfraud. Are they still operating? They ri**** me off in 2015.

  2. Mark says:

Oh Yes, Smart Financial Claims contacted me, all going great then they asked for payment to translate info/timeshare ‘stuff’ I’d sent to them, ‘for Spain laws’? Looke into company, does not look good! Will not be paying any money out
Lets see who comes up next!

  3. Dave says:

I have been cold called by Smart Financial Claims and they have not asked for any money up front unlike other companies who have cold called before. Atre they likely to do this? Is there any way that they coud be bona fide?

    • Polly says:

They ask for money to translate your documents, then after several weeks say you’ve got your claim but you have to send their fee which they’ve halved, so the two are meant to cross in transit , then you have to pay some more for the money to be released from Spain. Then………nothing! They disappear, no answers to your calls or emails. They’ve got your money and they’ve run away! Amy Livingstone is so believable. Don’t be fooled!

I have been contacted by World Vacation Exchange and I am being very cautious as they are from Holland
