Surprising to see how many “Mediation” companies see the light in such a short time and how they all seem to have an extended Client list to cold call and offer their services.
This time the name of the company is Windmill Mediation Services and as with all the others, they claim to be able to mediate on behalf of the Timeshare owner in court and almost guarantee success based on the numerous cases they have dealt with before.
This is a bit “exaggerated” looking at the fact that this company was registered only 6 weeks ago and their website http://windmillmediationservices.com/ was registered on the 2nd of September 2014
On this website they explain everything about “mediation” and claim to have a legal team to their disposal.
The company address for Windmill Mediation Services is a Postbox in Torremolinos, which looks rather strange for a “mediation / Legal” company.
In spite of assuring and re-assuring the Timeshare owner that there will be no upfront payments and only a fee of 10% over the awarded money once this is settled…they do require a payment for the Barrister upfront.

Seen the above we would certainly recommend to be very careful when dealing with this company.

Both my Husband and I have just lost 1,500 from this windmill Mediation. Feel such and idiot as we have been scammed before by a company called Excalibur. Windmill said they could get our money that we were promised and ask to send 500 for the barrister to and a futher £1000.00 as they had won the settlement. Then out blue they started asking for 2000.00 Tax and 1000 Vat which claimed we would get back. We told them to forget it and asked them to re-imburse our 1000 which they refused saying if we didnt go ahead with the settlement they would be witholding the 1000.00 . My Husband phoned became really upset in fact swore at a genteleman called George Hamilton who claims to be in charge and a barrister and left a message on my phone saying ny husband was very verbally abusive towards him and they would now be forwarding this to the fraud department to get the tax and vat due on the settlement. Before we dealt with him they said they were passing our case to J Lo Mediaton services and a person called Antonio Garcia claimed he would be getting this settlement to us quicker. Total con and we are 1500 the poorer for it.
How they can be capable of doing this to hard working people. We are both pensioners.
My dad has also just been r¨¨¨¨¨¨ off by windmill mediations, his main contact went by the name of Laura. Has anyone else had a problem in getting them to answer the phone ? I found when phoning them from a new number they answered straight away ! And My dealings with windmill was the same as Anne, money after money and no payout !

Telephone call received today from Ruth Walton, Windmill Mediation Services, who left a message on the answerphone with a request to ‘phone her on 0845 2871819 regarding information they have received that indicates we have been a victim of financial fraud. They have a legal obligation to contact us apparently. They are based in Torremolinos and she claims to have worked for them for six years. Same old rubbish. Advise leave well alone.
i was contacted by windmill mediation services today ,by Claire saunders saying that they could get back some money.i asked for there contactact details because I wanted to check out if they where as good as they say . thanks to this web site I know no to leave well a lone
i have just been contacted by windmill who want me to send money by bank transfer so that they cansend me £23,000.I fobbed her off saying i did not have £895 in my bank account and that I would have to cash in an ISA but she will be phoning me back this pm.
I too have just been contacted by, Windmill Mediation Services and after reading your info have decided that when they contact me on Monday I shall tell them that I’m not going ahead with any proceedings
Windmill Mediation have left a message on my telephone saying that I may have been defrauded by Timeshare resale companies and they may be able to recover monies from them through the courts. Sounds familiar so message deleted.
