Waterside Properties contacts Timeshare owners with the pitch of a guaranteed sale and numerous customers lined up to buy the memberships from them.
All the Timeshare owner needs to do is sign the agreement they send through by email and pay a security bond of £1500. This security bond is actually charged by a third party provider.
Once the payment has been done, the buyers don’t seem to exist any longer and no sale is processed at all.
We have to insist once more that it is strictly FORBIDDEN by the Timeshare Directive to take any upfront payments for a Timeshare resale, and any company asking for such payment should be avoided at all costs.
