Due to the financial global crisis many timeshare owners have became desperate to sell their timeshares.

Since 2009, there have been a high demand to sell and low supply to buy; and criminals, that always are on the lookout, have not neglected this opportunity.

Timeshare resale scammers suddenly began contacting timeshare owners, using a variety of company names, giving them hope that their troubles were over.

After negotiating a sales price there is a contract to be signed.

And always there is an up front fee to cover an admin fee or any other concept.

After that, fraudsters disappeared. Timeshare owners are convinced they had finally released their weeks, but the fact it was not true.

Consumer education is needed to avoid timeshare owners being cheated. This is what Mindtimeshare has set itself as a target for 2015.
