Victoria Marketing, same name, same people, same place but slightly different offer.

Yes of course we have heard of Victoria Marketing. As a matter of fact we have a blog about them posted in July 2013 ( )

In those days, Victoria Marketing was cold calling Timeshare consumers but mainly those who had been dealing with Incentive Leisure Group – ILG. They invited those consumers over to the Costa Del Sol claiming that there were assets from ILG that were going to be sold, and the money coming from these sales would be shared with all the “victims” of this company.

It became soon very clear that nothing of this story was true, and all those who attended the meeting thinking they were going to cash in money, were presented with an “offer” to pay thousands of pounds which would be “recuperated” afterwards.

Ever since then, it has been quiet around Victoria Marketing. But they are now back in the game and again actively cold calling Timeshare Consumers.

The pitch though has changed and become more recognizable. Join a No Win No Fee class action group against RCI and your Timeshare resort.

Sounds familiar? Well yes indeed. Victoria Marketing is cold calling to invite Timeshare owners to their meetings in Marbella on the Costa del Sol, which are actually done by ITRA the International Timeshare Refund Action.

In the same way as many others, such as Sherlock Marketing or information Advice Bureau, Victoria Marketing invites the consumer over in order to attend this meeting.

You can have a look at the numerous articles we posted on our blog about this company and also the “real” issue that is discussed at those meeting. The link to those posts is

If you have been contacted by Victoria Marketing for a 3 day stay in Marbella on the Costa del Sol, then please let us know.

regularly contacted by Victoria marketing and sherlock marketing. was about to fill out Victoria marketing’s assessment form . decided to Google them beforehand, glad I did now. I’m with club la costa on fractional ownership , worst decision ever.

  2. P.H. says:

I have been contacted by Victoria Marketing as I have fraction points with Club La Costa. Any advice.

  3. David says:

I have been contacted recently by Victoria Marketing regarding my Club La Costa fractional ownership. They are claiming the contract is illegally in perpetuity, which I do not believe it is, and want me to complete an on-line questionnaire to assess the value of any claim I may have against CLC as a result. This would be followed by a trip out to Malaga, necessary as the claim would be part of a Spanish class action against CLC. Needless to say, having read the information on this site about the probable links to ITRA et al, I will not be filling in the questionnaire or going to Spain!

Yes,we have been contacted by Christina McGrath from Victoria marketing and invited to Spain.Do this people really think we are that naive especially after what we got ourselves into with La costa

  5. John says:

have been contacted by Victoria Marketing and they have arranged hotel stay in Fuengirola with them picking me up from Hotel for meeting please can you advise John

  6. Brian says:

I have just last week been contacted by this company as I own with DRI. They have sent me a questionnaire to complete online for them to assess the probability of my claim against DRI. Their rep. Chris also said that
    a. she would be in touch with me again this week
    b. for me to succeed, i would have to go out to Spain and be “interviewed” by one of their legal
team. As I am almost 83 I do not fancy a long jaunt for a 2/3 night stayover in Marbella.
Also, I have previously been contacted by ITRA, whom V.M. are connected to, and got nowhere with them.
I will not be proceeding further with this offer, and suggest no-one else does either.

Hi. We have been contacted by Victoria Marketing 3 months ago about relinquishing our fractional points at Club La Costa. At that time, my wife was about to have a serious operation, so everything was postponed for 3 months. Now she has just been discharged from having a hip replacement and they are now putting us under pressure to register and fly out to Spain the end of September to document our claim. At the moment unsure the authenticity of this process and fearful it’s a scam. Would appreciate some advice. Thanks

  8. David says:

Personally legal help might help as you may be entitled to a section 75 reclaim depending on how it was sold and I helped one guy get over 14K back. The other option is to not pay tell them where to stick it and threaten them with the insolvency department who master minded the downfall of their companies (7 in total) due to mis-selling and mis-representation.

  9. Mine says:

Had a letter fromLeisure alliance who took over from Club Class asking for £55 annual subscription .i said I didn’t want to pay if I would rather lose it and they said I would need to pay£ 495 for an advanced referral program to resell .can I just not bother paying and ignore letters and Very Many Phone calls as I do not trust this company any longer .thanks
