Dear All,
As at every start of a new month, here we are again with an updated report on the cold callers and other “Dubious” companies that have been active in the month of January 2015.
We have counted 87 active companies of which 20 companies are completely new on the list.
You can find a complete list of the 87 companies on the following link: PDF COLD CALLER JANUARY 2015
During the past month we have noticed an increase in calls from so called “companies with no specific name”. Consumers are cold called by agents claiming to be calling from the Notary in Malaga, the Spanish Government or the Tax office. Please note that these calls are all fake and there are no such official entities cold calling consumers to pay out money awarded in court cases or police raids. Distrust any cold call and even more if the result of the call is a payment towards admin fees, taxes or Spanish registration numbers.
Let us know immediately if you received such call, and whatever information you can provide us will be helpful, so take note of the caller’s name, telephone number and ask for information by email.
The following list are the 20 new companies detected in January 2015

Customer Care
I have also just been cold called by someone, allegedly from Claims Made Easy in Enfield – tel. 0203 478 1703. His name was Jonathan Rose and he said I could get my money back even though I paid by bank transfer (stupid but gullible me at the time!), no upfront fee, and 25% commission for them out of whatever money the claims company recover. I’d gladly pay that but doubt it will ever happen.
He said I would be contacted by a lawyer shortly to discuss. But – I can’t find Claims Made Easy anywhere using an internet search plus when I initially answered the phone there seemed to be a lot of background noise his end which sounded remarkably like a load of children he was trying to keep quiet!! Not a good start.
Not overly convinced by any of this, I’ll see what his “lawyer” comes up with…..but not holding my breath. been caught out once – never again!
Would love to hear of anything about this company as I am convinced that it is another scammer doing his thing.
15 minutes ago I received a call from Claims Made Easy – 02034781703 asking if I had ever been contacted by dubious companies offering to reclaim fees I had paid Club Class. She obviously knew I had a membership (ceased) with CC.
Me -Yes many times just like yourselves.
CME – Oh no, we are a marketing company who could help you get the fees back.
Me – Stop there – Have you heard of Mindtimeshare?
CME – Yes the girl replied.
Me -If you looked up the web site you will find a long list of such companies.
CME – Do you know who started that site?
Me – Yes, who do you think it was?
CME – Can remember his name but he is ex Club Class and everything you read on that web site should not be believed, All bad comments, have you read any good ones?
Me – Warnings can only be bad. Sorry I can’t accept what you are saying. She got aggressive so I ended the call.
I have just had the same call, have had about 6 of them and like waiting for the claims company to get in touch about club class

I’ve just had a call from Claims Made Easy supposedly based in Enfield. The number that came up on was 0203 478 1703. The person that rang me said that they were a marketing company who would steer me to a claims company who would get me my money back under the section 75 credit card thing. Usual stuff, no upfront fee, and 25% commission for them out of whatever money the claims company recover. I got bored at that point and hung up/
I was called today (12/2/15) by Goldsworth Castle and Dean ,Business Centre, Unit 4, Breach Road West Thurrock ,Essex RM20 2NR. offering £12,000 from my dealings with Lifetime Exchange whom they said had gone into Liquidation. I am to have a further call from Paul Hagg and have to hand all relevant paperwork. Their phone number was quoted as 01375 888483..
I hope that this information will assist someone else tempted to believe them.
Thank you; I have just received a similar call from the same source promising £19100 after I had paid 10% to them a s a’release bond’ – which I have never heard of.. I was highly suspicious but your note confirms.
i have received several calls from an Anthony who claims to be a Spanish Notary working at the Spanish Foriegn office. He is claiming that he is working on behalf of the Spanish government cleaning up the mess made by fraudulent timeshare organisations and that the Spanish government are returning money obtained fraudulently by the timeshares companies from foreign nationals in an attempt to persuade the EU to give them another bail out. He quickly went from assuring me that he would at no point ask for any money to promising me a cheque for £8k if I forwarded £499 to him in order that he could obtain an NIE number for me. I asked him to email me his contact details at the Spanish foreign office in order that I could verify his identify before handing over any money. I have unsurprisingly not received those details.
Sorry, should have added that I also have the telephone number of 0034603149862
Called today 5/2/2015 by Paul Hogg of GOLDWORTH CASTLE & DEAN Based in West Turrock Essex saying they had compensation from Spanish courts for us mentioning various companies that we had dealings with. They said Gold Crown Solutions had sold our DWVC MEMBERSHIP I know this not true and will be ignoring their call back from Janet Drinkwater who they said is the financial director who will release the cheque.
Hi remember me? I am delighted to inform you that through a chance talk at a meeting with Mark Caldicott ofTatoc while at a SGM meeting with my friend who owned at McDonalds Forest Hills in
Scotland in August Mark contacted Beverly @ Silverpoint, Tenerife regarding my weeks there.
Beverly phoned me next day and immediately offered to ‘take back’ my two weeks there at no
cost to me including all legal costs. I jumped at the chance and am now ‘timeshare free’.
My friend also had success with McDonalds disposing of their one week but unfortunately had to pay them 4 years maintenance cash (nearly £3K). However they also gladly accepted.
We both cannot thank you enough for all your info re ‘cold callers’ but please delete my name from your mailing list. Very best wishes and keep up your excellent work.
Kindest regards Anne
