Lately it seems that there are more and more companies setting up websites where they guarantee a refund claim for anything people purchased, and are bragging about their “success rate” in refund claims.

A company like that has popped up by the name of Claims Direct Now.

Their website, www.claimsdirectnow.co.uk seems to be made on a familiar template.

The domain was registered mid December 2014 although in the text of the website people are given the impression the company has been around for ages and they “are one of the leading companies and recuperated over 25 million in claims this year alone”.

One wonders which year that was then…

Claims Direct Now does not provide any company details on the web, which is something that goes straight against the law, as there is an obligation to have full identification on a website.

Contact details are a phone number 0330 022 9102 or a contact form where they do want all the details of the person contacting them.

Although they display a “privacy policy” it seems rather difficult to make a complaint or claim against them if something goes wrong when the only contact detail and company information provided is a telephone number.

www.claimsdirectnow.co.uk is not really a company or website we would recommend to the consumer and we would certainly advice against sending any personal details to a company or website that is not properly identified.
