A new timeshare resale company has been brought to our attention this week by name Holiday Ownership Estates.
Holiday Ownership Estates are ‘cold callers’, approaching the consumers already with all their details in hands, and offering the sale of all types of holiday ownership deeds, as they state themselves, and which altogether does not make it very trustworthy.

But they also ask for monies to be paid upfront, and then it turns out to be illegal, as the European Timeshare Directive does not allow any upfront payments to be taken when offering timeshare resale.

Holiday Ownership Estates state to be located in Birmingham, unconfirmed so far, but what the investigations have shown is that they are not a registered company in UK or Spain.

They do not offer any details on their web page http://holidayownershipestates.com that
would allow to identify them as a trustworthy company; they do not even fulfil the basic requirements for providing company details, as company address, registration number, terms & conditions or their privacy policy.

So clearly not an invitation to pay money to such a company!

Timeshare owners should always remember NEVER TO PAY ANY MONEY UPFRONT for services around their timeshare or holiday club membership.

There are always solutions that do not include to have to deal with dubious cold callers who ask a lot of money but there is no guarantee that they will keep their promises.
