Beware of Simpson & Perez the fake lawyers from Seville

Captura de pantalla 2015-06-08 a la(s) 16.11.58

A new cold calling and fake lawyers office has been spotted by the name of Simpson & Perez.

Yet again, a bogus company pretends to take advantage of innocent timeshare consumers who have been duped in the past, and try to make them believe that the company who cheated on them has been taken to court.

Simpson & Perez claim to be the legal office appointed by the Town Hall of Malaga in order to contact the victims, as there has been money awarded to all of them and this can be claimed.

But, there is of course an “small” issue to solve before the transfer can be done, and that is that the Spanish authorities require the victim to present a Spanish TAX ID number the so called NIE.

For those unable to travel to Spain and stand in queues for hours to obtain such NIE number, Simpson and Perez kindly offer their services to obtain this on their behalf. And this service costs around £900.

Research has shown that there is no such company by the name of Simpson & Perez in Seville, Malaga or Spain.

Neither are there any court settlements with money awarded, and certainly would you not need an NIE for that.

Details for Simpson & Perez are to be found on their website http://www.simpsonandperez.com which was registered on the 16th of January 2015.

They only use Spanish mobile phones and the number on the web is 603 267 552 and email address: info@simpsonandperez.com

Please note that this is a BOGUS company and there is no such thing as money waiting to be paid out!

If you have been contacted by the (fake) lawyers from Simpson and Perez in Seville then please do let us know.

  1. Bob says:

Contacted today by John Williams of Simpson and Perez saying they have £ 7145 for me as a result of a company called Sun Travel going into liquidation. I took all their details tel 0034634091506 and they gave me Western Union no 0800833833 to transfer t=a personal transfer of £610 to David Anthony Coverdale. I have no intention of doing this but played along knowing the way they and others have tried to do to us in the past
