There is a new cold calling notary office by the name of Solana Real. The full name they quote on their paperwork is Oficina Notarial Javier Solana Real.
This company claims to be in Madrid although the address does not really coincide with any notary office, and neither have we found any registered notary in Spain by the name of Javier Solana Real.
Solana Real seems to be targeting mainly Dutch speaking timeshare owners. They cold call the timeshare owner and claim that there has been a court case against their timeshare resort or holiday club and money has been awarded to the victims of these companies.
There is though an issue of a Spanish Tax bill that needs to be settled prior to releasing the awarded money.
Again there is mention of substantial amounts of money that supposedly have been awarded, and taking a percentage over this amount for “taxes”, the timeshare owner is requested to pay around €5000. This to be done to a bank account, which surprisingly seems to be at a POLISH bank!
Contact details for Notario Solana Real are telephone 00 34 632 398 936 and Email: notario.solanareal@yahoo.com
The address mentioned: Calle de Nùñez de Balboa, 28006, Madrid, ESPAÑA
There is no doubt that this phone call comes from a bogus company and we therefore strongly advice NOT to pay a penny to anybody calling from Solana Real.
Notaries in Spain do not really handle outcomes from court cases and neither would they cold call you and ask for money.
If you received a phone call from an agent claiming to be working on behalf of the notary Javier Solana Real, then please let us know.
