Dear All,
Please find the latest Cold Caller list from the month of August 2015, with 89 active companies. From the 89 companies there are 16 new companies on this list.
You can find the complete list of cold callers in PDF format on the following link:
Although August has been a month where many consumers have been enjoying their holidays, still many of them found the time to make us aware of these cold calls or about companies offering dubious holiday products. We really appreciate this and as always our sincere thanks to all who wrote to us with such valuable information.
Last week we have published an article with advice on how to try and avoid that cold callers cheat your elderly parents and/or relatives. This article is based on the fact that more and more we receive emails from children or close friends and relatives of elderly people who seem to have been defrauded in very bad ways.
Sadly enough people who work for these dubious companies do not seem to have any scrupulous when speaking to senior consumers, (who most of the time are living on a small pension) and cheat them out of their hard earned money for fake resale’s, fake claims or discounted holidays which they don’t even qualify for.
There is no excuse for cheating anybody out of their money, but doing this to people who could be your parents or grandparents seem to be extremely cruel and heartless and there is nothing that could actually justify this.
The link to this article is http://wp.me/p1kmoi-1DR and we invite everybody to share this with others who have elderly relatives or friends who own a timeshare.
The 16 names of the “new” companies on our list are:
Alfa Accounting UK Ltd
Alza Torres Lawyers http://wp.me/p1kmoi-1De
Busquets Galvez Asesores Inmobiliarios
Carillo Sancho http://wp.me/p1kmoi-1Dn
European Option Group
FCG Contract Services Ltd
Gold Crown Services GCS http://wp.me/p1kmoi-1Da
Hampton & Thistle http://wp.me/p1kmoi-1Dr
Mason & Lombard http://wp.me/p1kmoi-1DN
Salgado S.A. http://wp.me/p1kmoi-1DJ
Sanchez & Donaldson
Sanchez & Limb http://wp.me/p1kmoi-1DN

The same as with many people, September is a month where everybody starts again with the daily routine and everything goes back to normal. We are afraid that this will also be the case with the dubious companies and expect September to be a busy month.
Of course the sooner we can warn everybody the better, so as soon as you receive a cold call please let us know.
Main information we are looking for is the name of the company, their telephone number, and what are they offering. It would then also be nice to know if they are asking for any money upfront, where are they based, their email address, and any other details you can get from them. But with the name, telephone and basic of the offer we can make a good start.
Many thanks in advance!
Kind regards
Customer Care
Hi
My husband has just received a telephone call from Olton Alexander to try to recover monies that we paid to Silverpoint (previously Resort Properties) in Tenerife.
Please can you advise if this is a sc** or should we trust them
He has arranged an appointment for them to visit us on Sunday
Regards
Lisa
Been contacted by a company Timeshare release, about selling my timeshare weeks.
Do you have any information on these people?
Has anyone had any contact from a company called Sapphire Settlements. We have been contacted by a very persistent lady who states that this company is working for the Bank of Spain and they can obtain for us the money paid out plus the amount that was promised with the scam
Thanks
I too got a call from Sapphire Settlements, google them (found this blog) and its a recently formed Spanish Company, Tel number 0845 0048980, website http://www.sapphiresettlements.com. Very pushy lady said I had to send 3,000 pounds to a bank account in Spain to get money back from timeshare activities, what she did not know is I already sold it, I had only paid one resale company and got refunded through my card company. I don’t think this company can be trusted.
Hello, I have just had a cold call from Sanchez Insolvencia & Gestores, Calle Trinidad 35-36, primers plants, Malaga 29001. Tel: 020313703456 (English clients)
They have emailed me a document requesting £420 up front to return £9475 from Incentive Leisure. Email came from Francisco Sanchez at email address mariagonzalez@franciscosanchezabogados.com
I’m assuming bogus until told otherwise!
