The Owners Association that cold calls on behalf of the lawyer Ramon Mesa Gorrin

Over the past week we have been receiving notifications from consumers who are receiving calls from people claiming to be calling on behalf of the Owners Association.

Owners Association is supposedly a group of Timeshare owners, united in a claim through the Arona courts in Tenerife. The person heading up this claim is the lawyer called Ramon Mesa Gorrin.

The “legal adviser” who calls is Luisa Hernan Montoya and she explains the basics of the claim that is up-coming through the court and which the timeshare owner can still join.

She even mentions that there are around 50 other claimants in this cause and you can join on a No Win No Fee basis.

After the initial call a 3 page document is send through about this claim and the wonderful lawyer heading this all, Mr Ramon Mesa Gorrin.

Although in this initial contact there is no mention (as yet) about any payments apart from those expected once the “settlement in court” has taken place, we surely want to warn all consumers who receive calls from the above set up. As there is no doubt that a money issue will soon arise when the timeshare owner decides to join this case.

Owners Association pretends to be the legal branch from the original lawyers office of Ramon Mesa Gorrin.

Owners Association has a website www.ownersassociation.es where they even claim to have been around for over 15 years.

Strange taken into account this web was only registered in July this year.

The contact details on the web are: +34 822 250 064 and email info@ownersassociation.es

They refer to the main offices that are linked to theirs, which are from this supposed lawyer Ramon Mesa Gorrin. We say supposed as we have been unable to trace any lawyer in Spain by such name and his website also lacks all indications of what his registration numbers are to claim he is a lawyer.

The website www.ramonmesagorrin.es also claims to have a 25 years presence on the Internet. But again, the website was only created in July on the same day as the other one…

Contact details for Ramon Mesa Gorrin are his mobile phone 34 672 549 898 and email info@ramonmesagorrin.es

Please note that the above mentioned are all part of a bogus set up and under no circumstances should you send them any personal information and certainly NOT pay them a penny for whatever reason they give.

They are not legal advisers, they are not lawyers, and they are what they are; a bogus set up that is looking for your money!

If you have been contacted by Owners Association (+34 822250064) or Ramon Mesa Gorrin (+34 672549898) directly, then please let us know.

  1. Irene says:

I have had a similar experience with Litigar Lawyers and Manuel Amas Conde Same set up several calls over a 6 month period Case going to court Pay 811 euros to Jaime David Tharste Supposedly spoke to Richard Lehman, Daniel James and a couple of others Became suspicious when my emails to them bounced back Haven’t paid them any money fortunately and don’t intend to They now seem to have stopped phoning

  2. Anthony says:

We to have been scammed by these con artists Richard Lemhan is such a smooth talker we believed all that was told to us and the documents looked so real we sadly went all the way with the payments also gonna get gum backwards tattooed on my forehead but going to Tenerife in November so am going to take all the paper work to the local police and see if they can be brought to justice

  3. David says:

Yep, we also have been had.

They have been ‘phoning and e-mailing us for quite some time (many months), with follow up letters, and we have ‘phoned saying we will not pay a penny. However, they referred to Court fees and we checked the plausibility (on-line) and it all sounded plausible, except for the quantum. We wanted to check it out with our solicitor, but she was away and we took the risk. Silly us!

  4. Terry says:

We have also been harassed by Richard Lehman, with others, who represent Auxiliares and Miguel Mesa Montoya. We have received lots of professional looking and official paperwork. The same design of logo’s, etc., as above and obviously part of the same operation. We have been asked to pay €611 to the procurator, Jaime Davida Tharste to receive our allotted and agreed compensation. Having looked at the website details – set up in March of this year against the trading period of the Lawyer of 26years – the whole thing just does not add up.
I have just told Lehman that I don’t want to pay it because it doesn’t all make sense. Lehman said that he fully understands my position and would be the same(?). However, he will pass on my comments on to the lawyers who will write to me by email.
There is no way we will pay this money.
Please steer clear of these fraudulent companies and people: Auxiliares; Miguel Mes Montoya; Jaime Davida Tharste; Richard Lehman; Ramon Quenan Cansal; Samuela Mar Fernandez; Johnathan Halvan; a Scotsman with a gruff voice (no name) and a very, very smooth and credible talker who goes by the name of Daniel James.

  5. Rob says:

Sadly we have become victims of this and did actually pay the Procurator Fee of EU804 (just over £600) that they requested in order for our case to be taken to court. We are now being told that our claim was successful and if we just send another EU994 for tax fees which they “kindly” reduced by half as we said we were just pensioners and could not afford the fees, they can release our compensation award! Just wish we had done more research in the first place but it just all seemed so feasible – HOW STUPID OR GULLIBLE ARE WE!

  6. pete says:

I to have been contacted except that now The Firm is calling itself Auxillium and the Lawyer is Simone Mesa Martinez. I have spoken to a Mr Richard Leman and await a return call. Looks and sounds very credible except that they are using the same company logo as Owners association and the same letterhead as Ramon Mesa Gorin. I have been asked to pay by bank transfer 789euros to Davide Jaime Thirstu who although having a web address Google is unable to find it!
Richard Leeming also gave the same telephone number as Ramon Mesa Gorrin so I believe this is all part of the same scam.

  7. Carol says:

I have now had three phone calls in the past week from someone claiming to represent this “lawyer”. I have been promised that my case against Silverpoint will be heard on 14/12/2015 and I will receive the decision and the compensation by Christmas. Also advised there will be a small fee for the court hearing I need to pay in advance. I understand from this website this is a con? And I should not trust these people at all? Is there actually anyone out there who is trustworthy and can help with mis-sold timeshares? Scam after scam after scam appears to be the normal way of things time after time. I have no hope or faith anymore.

  8. David says:

had several calls from ramon mesa gorrin now they want a payment to a procurator named davide Jaime thirstu of 833 euros refundable? they are calling again today 15/10/2015 this money to be paid directly into his bank account details given.

  9. Julie says:

Have heard from Harris and Partners again. Tried to give me a overseas number to speak to a solicitor. Then rang again and pretended to be the Solicitor.

    • Tina says:

My first point of contact was from the Owners Association (Luisa Heinan Monteoya) legal department back in September 2015. Since then I’ve received numerous calls from Richard Leighman (lawyers liaison) explaining the process. To cut a long story short I’ve also received a requests to pay Davido Thursta Procurader 406 euros for my case to be processed. My gut feeling is that this is not legit.
I also explained to him some other dealings I had with timeshare salesmen and EZE group. He said he would get a Mr Curtis to call me which he did, however I asked him if he was Richard as he sounded the same. He just laughed.
I will definitely leave this well alone!
