A cold caller who claims to be a legal office, offering Timeshare consumers help with claims against their timeshare company.

It is yet again questionable how a company who claims to be working with legal professionals, can afford to make the mistake of cold calling, which is against the ethics of any legal company.

They the question arises as well, where did they obtain your personal details in the first place anyway?

It is not normal that a company you don’t know has your details. Nobody should have these and less in combination with your membership details etc.

Going back to Hamilton Frasier, a company registered at the end of July 2015, they also have a website which is called www.getridofyourtimeshare.co.uk

On this website they talk about relinquish and refund claims for money paid by credit card.

The paperwork though sent out by Hamilton Frasier looks more like an authorisation for a court claim.

Their address consists of a mailbox in London.

Independently of the fact if a company is registered or if they work on a No Win No Fee basis, we surely think that consumers should be careful when dealing with cold callers.

You are about to hand over a lot of personal details to these companies, and when they are cold callers and there is not really a lot of company information, this can suppose a risk.

Too often we have seen it happen where companies, duly registered, obtain all details from a consumer, but then they disappear leaving the consumer with an unresolved claim or a claim that has never been started at all.
