Several inquiries received this week about the same company, Asset Recovery Solutions, who seems to be cold calling Timeshare owners with the story of a payment due to the consumer through the Spanish Courts.
The payments mentioned are for substantial amounts between 30 and 40 thousand Pounds. But in order to “release” this money the consumer needs to pay a “Court bond”.
This payment is expected to be done by bank transfer into a UK account.
Research has shown that this apparent new company Asset Recovery Solutions is directly linked with dubious companies from the past who made similar telephone calls to timeshare consumers.
The telephone numbers used for the calls are 0800 211 8014 and 0203 598 6976. So far they have not mentioned where they are based, or provided any further company details.
Please note that there is no such thing as the “Spanish Courts” awarding money to victims of frauds just like that, and telephone calls out of the blue from supposed official entities telling you that you are about to receive money from court cases that have taken place.
In any case, if they want to send you money, that is fine, but NEVER EVER pay anything upfront for any fees or taxes or whatever excuse they come up with for a payment before releasing this money to you.
Cold callers are NOT to be trusted and less if they know everything about fraudulent transactions and cheats you suffered in the past!

Having had a call from asset recovery six months ago and paying them over six hundred pounds, which I was told was required by the Spanish gov. As a payment for outstanding tax in order to release a sum of twelve thousand pounds which they told me I was owed, I heard nothing from them. I tried to contact them on their 0800 number to no avail, then out of the blue they rang me to say they were still holding twelve thousand pounds in a account for me but the six hundred pounds I had paid them had been rejected by the Spanish courts because it did not meet the total tax that was outstanding on the payment and they required a further payment of thirteen hundred and thirty pounds in order to release the funds, and if I paid them today ,it would be in my bank by Xmas.what do you think would be an appropriate reply
I’ve been contacted by solutions SL who say they have a court case on25 November and after paying almost £500 pounds up front should receive almost £20,000 back. Has anyone else been contacted?
I was contacted by Asset Recovery Solutions, saying they have a cheque for me from the court case in Spain for my missold timeshare. they knew all about my case history and wanted me to send £615.30 by Bank Transfer to a Trustee called Mrs. N.L. Daly and gave me her bank account details, at Santander Bank. I will not put those details here for security reasons. We have managed to tell them that at the moment we are not in a position to send that amount, as we are pensioners, which is true. The address I have for them is 86 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE.
