Yes, the latest cold caller is now supposedly calling from Athens, from the Cassatio Court.
The lady who makes the call presents herself as Anna Bakas whose phone number is +306955852399 or +30 2111988686 and she works for the Court of Cassatio in Athens
Anna Bakas is a very knowledgeable lady, as she knows all about the previous frauds the Timeshare consumer has suffered. The good news she is bringing is that finally the money that was defrauded is now been chased up at a Greek bank and the court has ruled this should be paid back to the victims.
Just like that! The victim was not even aware there was a chase or court case…and voilà the money is ready to be paid out.
Before being able to release the money to this lucky timeshare consumer, Anna Bakas does ask for a payment, which represents a tax of 5% over the awarded money.
This money has to be paid through Money Gram, in the name of an individual called Buci Hider.
All the above is kindly confirmed by Ana through an email which she sends from minister@minfin-gr.org or from athens@minfingr.org with the logo of the Greek Republic to make it all more official and signed by Ioannis Vasiles Stamos.
Taking into account the consumer will receive over £20.000 why not send them the 5%?
For as much as these people try to make this look all real and official, this is obviously another dodgy set up and certainly NOT TRUE.
The whole story reminds us of another “Court” call, which we wrote about in June and supposedly, came from the “Corfu Notary Office” Read more on: The notary office in Corfu has processed your timeshare resale…
PLEASE be aware that these calls are all coming from fraudsters and you should certainly NOT pay a penny.
There are no court cases with money awarded to the victims just out of the blue!
If you received a call from Anna Bakas in Athens or anything similar, please let us know the soonest possible.
