The question if Litigious Lawyers, or their appointed lawyers Mr. Emilio Catillianos are for real, is something we hear a lot recently.
The answer is no. This is not for real, and consumers should be extremely careful with providing any personal details to any cold caller and this includes the above-mentioned company and person.
The cold call from Litigious Lawyers, or as they are called in Spanish Litigious Abogados, comes as a surprise, but it appears to be a nice one.
The caller on the phone presents himself as somebody working for a lawyer’s office in Tenerife, Litigious Lawyers and handling numerous successful court claims against bogus companies that were active in the past.
The consumer on the phone has been selected as the caller from Litigious lawyers seems to know already that the consumer was duped by a certain company, and coincidentally this company is now taken to court.
The consumer can be included in the claim and this will be on a no win no fee basis.
That sounds of course great, and there is nothing to lose! Or is there?
After the initial call things really go very quickly. Taken in account court claims take years and years in Spain, the court in Tenerife seems to be up to speed indeed and the matter is actually handled in no time.
When the good news is brought to the consumer, there is though a fee to pay, which he can do by bank transfer into a bank account of a supposed lawyer or notary.
There is no documentation to back up any of the statements from this company Litigious Lawyers or the solicitor Emilio Leyes Catillianos. But who cares? A large sum of money is on the way to the consumer!
Obviously the above is all untrue and no consumer has ever received any money from any similar set up.

Unfortunately my husband and I fell for the scam. We were cheated out of €3000. They have no shame. Even after they cheated us out of our money, they ‘instructed’ other ‘lawyers’ called Paulo Fenucie who tried to scam us out of another €800 so they could ‘sort it out’!! Please everyone, don’t make the same mistake as us. We consider ourselves to be cautious people but we fell for it – mostly because we wanted so badly to be out of the timeshare
Please be careful – they are very convincing and I consider myself to be pretty switched on!! It’s all free of charge until they ask you for the court ‘admin’ fee. The timeshare companies are bad enough but these people are praying on those who have already stumped up thousands.
Hi just had dealings with this company are they really a bogus company before I go any further
We’ve been contacted by these people 3 times in the last month, they sound very convincing eg. they will do everything and no charges. But thanks for the warning, they will be told where to go
Their initial contact is extremely convincing – They have yet to ask for details / payment but I will have no hesitation in telling them where to go!
TRIED TO GET ME IN ON THE DEAL TOLD THEM WHERE TO GO CANNY BE BOTHERD WITH THESE PEOPLE TRYING TO RIP PEOPLE OF
