Henshaw and Randell, cold calls, which just don’t sound right!

Sometimes we are made aware of a cold caller, but there isn’t really a lot to write about. But with some companies you know from the start that things re not right and there is no doubt that this is a dubious caller.

That is the case with the caller Henshaw and Randell.

The agent by the name of “John” with a secretary called Elizabeth Harrison is calling from 0203 137 3924 or a “James Cox” who is also part of this “company” is calling from 0203 137 3941

John / James works for Henshaw and Rendall and for some strange reason this company has money to be paid out to the consumer on the phone.

It isn’t clear as yet if the money is from a supposed resale of a timeshare or money awarded through a court claim. In any of the cases, the consumer wasn’t even aware of this being processed and due to him.

But who would say no to an amount of £15.000…?

In order to send the consumer this money he will need to pay an “Insurance Bond” and this bond is calculated at a 10% over the awarded amount so they expect £1500 upfront.

The bank account for this payment is in the name of a  MR L T HOLM
bank 06050357 Halifax Bank. Sort 11 00 01

As mentioned in the confirmation email, which they send after the call, “ this money will be placed as an insurance on the procedure. Once all business has been settled the insurance bond is released back to client in full”

The supposed office address for Henshaw and Randell is as stated in the paperwork:

BARBICAN BISNESS CENTER, CENTRAL POINT, 45 BEECH STREET, LONDON ec2y8ad

Surprising is as well the email address used for this “mediation” company, as this is a Gmail account: henshawrandell100@gmail.com

We have not been able to find so far a company registered at the Companies House by the name of Henshaw and Randell and neither on given address.

If John or James from Henshaw and Randell has contacted you, using Telephone numbers 02031373924 or 02031373941, we would like to hear from you.
