It looks like not many people actually noticed the news in February 2017, where the RDO announced that they were not extending their agreement with Mindtimeshare.
As mentioned in their publication: “Following a strategic review of how it carries out its enforcement activities, RDO has decided not to extend its contract with Mindtimeshare SL in Spain when it comes up for renewal at the end of April 2017…”
As the moment is coming close now to when this is actually going to take effect, we do receive inquiries from consumers who are genuinely concerned with what is going to happen now.
Is Mindtimeshare going to disappear?
Who can we turn to then with all our questions about the dubious companies?
The answer to the questions is simple. NO, we will not disappear and YES you can continue to send us all your inquiries and questions about the companies you dealt with or who have approached you.
We have to admit, it won’t be easy. We are only a small team and we are doing our best to get back to everybody in a timely manner and provide the best service and correct advice to all.
But to do this, we need time to investigate and dedication. And obviously we from the Mindtimeshare team also need to make a way of living.
Without the finance of the RDO this is going to put a big strain on all of us. But after more than 7 years working on enforcement, fighting against fraud and scams in and around the timeshare industry, we do not want to give up!
There are still far too many consumers out there that need our help and advice. Far too many people are confused with what is a genuine offer and what could turn out to be the biggest nightmare for them.
Our work and our dedication is not a useless battle. Our work and dedication has avoided many scams to happen, we have helped numerous consumers to get their money back through claiming under the Consumer Act using our step-to-step guidance, and many others received the correct information about relinquishments and claims so they could take the right decision in this matter.
Bogus cold callers are changing names and telephone numbers continuously until they disappear, because they cannot keep up with the publications on our blog and our monthly updated COLD CALLER list where we name and shame them.
We cannot just “stop” now and move on, forgetting about all those consumers out there who unfortunately still believe in the good doing of other human beings and believe what they are told on cold calls from unscrupulous companies.
So our message is, Mindtimeshare is here and we are here to stay!
And not only will we continue with all the services we have been providing so far to you already; we also will be expanding this range of services and expand the support we can offer those timeshare owners and other consumers who have problems or doubts with their holiday product or payments made and need advice from an independent consumer focused company!
So…Yes please, do keep contacting us when you receive a dodgy call or a “too good to be true offers” related to your Holiday or Timeshare membership.
Yes please do keep on asking us for help in matters related to refund claims, relinquishments and resale.
And Yes please, do continue to trust in us as you have done in the past years.
The Mindtimeshare Team
Glad to hear you guys are staying. An excellent service.
Can anyone please signpost me towards a legal company who CAN help me with my timeshare release with Club la costa?
So will you finally go after RDO members who break the law on a daily basis???
Hi Jake,
Thanks for your comment.
Mindtimeshare is considering expanding its scope of action to companies that are not fraudulent, but that are acting with malpractice.
Kind regards

Totally endorse Peter’s comments. For those who’ve been financially successful with your help I would have thought a modest percentage of the pay-out would be a good way of saying ‘thank you’.
Shortsighted decision by RDO – keep up he great work Mindtimeshare & Alberto👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks to Mindtimeshare, and Alberto Garcia in particular, I was able to obtain a refund of £3000 promoted under false pretences by a Club Class company. I was pleased to learn, therefore, that you are going to continue the good work. Excellent news.
You have provided a unique and invaluable service to a worldwide public. Keep going! Have you considered asking for donations or subscriptions to help maintain your service?
Jolly good keep up the good work.
Thank you!
Kind regards
