Timeshare Cold Callers September 2017

Dear All,

Welcome to the month of October 2017!

The new cold caller list is here and we have counted 51 company names this month.

From the 51 cold calling companies, a surprising 18 companies were completely new.

We have to say that some company names are actually taken from real existing companies. This is extra confusing when a consumer is cold called and tries to do a bit of research.

The company name comes up and the consumer is likely to think that everything then might be ok.

Please be careful with this!

The fact a company is registered does not always mean the company is not telling you lies.

So don’t only guide yourself by the fact a company seems to have a registration number and do certainly more checks on contact details, telephone numbers etc.

Special attention to the email address. Most companies nowadays, even those who don’t really have an own website, do have their own domain name (company name). So email addresses ending with gmail.com, mail.com, account.com etc. should be treated with caution.

We also published this week an article with a resume of all the fake lawyers calling from Tenerife and who seem to belong to the same set up. Also known as the “Litigious lawyers” or “Legitimos Abogados”

You can read the article on the following link: http://wp.me/p1kmoi-2ac

How do I check out Andrew lewis consultants ..

  2. Andrew says:

    Hello fellow sufferers.
Another cold caller to add to the list. MVA LEGAL. Very unpleasant man rang my wife, very pushy. He was rather plausible on first call but very angry with her when she cancelled meeting. Claims to be a legal firm not such law firm registered.
    Good luck all,
    Andrew

Regarding TRAVEL 365 this is the same company as RESORT MANAGEMENT They contacted me regarding the credit that my brother, who is now in a care home, had accrued of several hundred pounds entitling me to 6 weeks holiday etc. & I needed to pay £99 to keep it active, I agreed to this, then found subsequently, that they had taken a further £198.98 from my credit card. Not satisfied with that, they phoned to say that I should pay them more money & when I declined, they said there was a penalty fee if I didn’t pay. I then cancelled my credit card. ordered a replacement & requested the c/c company to try to recover the payment in question.

Beware of Litigation Services who are cold calling people from Spain. They are not a legitimate claims company and according to the MOJ are operating illegally in the UK.

Over the past week a large number of victims of Inside Track have contacted me after they were called by a company called ‘Litigation Services’, asking for money and guaranteeing a pot of gold ready for collection!!!!

If this company call you please report them to the police using the crime reference number in this email.

In Spain, it is illegal to Cold Call and offer Legal Services! So not only is it questionable where they obtained the Inside Track Victims details from, but also why they cold call if they are a legal company and should be aware of the rules.

You should never forget that legitimate law firms never cold-call people. Main reason being is obviously that they lack your contact details unless you give it to them. This is why you must mistrust always any phone calls from the UK or from Spain offering you out-of-the-blue to take “class actions” or “group actions” against Inside Track. Ask yourself why and how these people have your contact and investment details.

Crime Reference Number if ‘Litigation Services’ try to contact you:
    45150016364

  5. Pat says:

Do you have any information about ‘Client Contract Services’? They ‘cold called us’ about three months ago but they appear to be a ‘bone fide’ company. I now notice that they have been included in September’s ‘Cold Calling List’. Any information would be useful.
Also we have again been approached in a letter by ‘Timeshare.lawyer’ – Belinda Rollings. Telephone: 0800 023 9032 We previously had a run in with them in February 2017, but eventually got our money back. Their booklet sent with the letter admits that they are a …”niche legal division of SellMyTimeshare.tv, owned by Monster Rewards”. I understand that Athena Law in Manchester have taken out a injunction against Monster Rewards?

  6. F J A says:

If you paid by credit card you should look at using section 75 of the consumer credit act to get your money back. Best to start by speaking to your credit card company. I did and it worked – everything refunded.

  7. bill says:

HI, I have just received a cold call from “OLIVER JAMES LTD in DORSET. UK. BH1666FA” regarding assistance in getting money back from EZE GROUP who have mis sold me packages over the last 5 years, most of which I paid with Credit Card. They offer no win no fee but will charge 35% of any cash received. Have you heard of this company?? Regards Bill
