Did you get money back through the small claims court paid out by Capital Assist from London?

A strange cold caller has popped up this week by the name of Capital Assist.

Heather Johnson who claims to work for Capital Assist in London is cold calling from a Leeds number 01133 501 577

Her pitch is that there is a sum of over £10,000 waiting for the consumer in the Small Claims Court as the result of money that has been recovered after a Class Action against fraudsters.

However the problem is that to get the money released to the consumer there is a fee of £300 to pay for its release as they noticed the Consumer does not have a Spanish National Insurance number.

The £300 has to be paid by bank transfer to a UK Company bank account in the name of Capital Consultancy Group

Heather from Capital Assist is as nice to point out to the Consumer that if he would like to have the proof this was all genuine, he can call the Watchdog and verify all the details she has given.

Heather gives the number of the exact office where the consumer should call but strangely they are only available between 11,30 and 2.00pm on 0203 0510650

When the Consumer calls, the person picking up the phone sounds as if she was waiting for this particular call…

So far we have been unable to find any company details on the company names of Capital Assist or Capital Consultancy Group.

We have not heard of any class actions done through the Small Claims Court.

And the mystery here of course is, why should a UK Consumer, claiming through a UK court be paying a fee for a Spanish registration number?

Same has happened to me with Capital1 Advisory, but using the telephone number 02030510650. They have been contacting me over the last month. Also had a call from Capital Consultancy today using the telephone number 01133501577 stating that I have been awarded a sum just over £15k and that this was to be transferred from a Spanish bank to a British bank there would be a tax implication, did not ask for any money. Called the number back and got the reception at Burnley Business Centre.

Received several calls from 01133501577 telling me that there was some £15k due to be from Spain in relation to Time Share recovery. The company is Capital 1 Advisory of Burnley Group Business Centre , Liverpool Road (do not have town) . The 2 individuals who have contacted me are Elaine Mitchell and Jennifer Knowles. They put me in touch with European Time Share (o2030510650) who tell me that there are no adverse reports about this company. They gave me an e-mail address (capitail1advisory@gmail.com) but e-mails to this address do not go through and since Monday the phone is going straight through to an answerphone. They were going to send me full details of what is due to me together with an invoice for approx £600 to secure release of the funds. To date I have received nothing nor have I parted with any money. A search on Google shows nothing.
