Latest news! Standon Mortimer Associates is in liquidation!

The company Standon Mortimer Associates is in liquidation and the liquidators have been appointed.

The official notification is in The Gazette and you can find the details on the following link:

Many consumers will recognize the name of Standon Mortimer as the company who received them at the meetings about claims, to which they were invited by a range of cold calling companies such as:

Standon Mortimer presented themselves as “legal consultants” and were the ones explaining everything at the meeting to the consumer about the supposed “no win no fee” claims.

But in order to join such claim they convinced the timeshare owners they first had to relinquish their timeshare.

The relinquishment services had an expensive price tag though and consumers ended up paying thousands and thousands of pounds to get their timeshare cancelled.

Most of these consumers actually never got this done at all, and neither did a claim happen.

Yet again a cold calling company offering claims has left the consumers helpless and with a substantial loss of money.

If you paid Standon Mortimer for their services, please contact us and we can explain if you have the possibility to claim back the money.

We got sc****** out of 10k by Mark who purported to be an ex SO 20 firearms officer..complete with photos on his desk etc. Fell hook line and sinker. Ignored all the warning sides because we relied on his integrity as a retired police officer.
I complained to Action Fraud. GE, our MP, and the liquidators. In their last report, they identified the illegal transfer of funds to personal accounts. Clear evidence but no action taken.
The only good guys were HSBC who refunded the 3.6k debit card transfer and were very sympathetic.
ActionFraud is worse than useless. All police forces have to do is refer people to AF and do nothing else. AF record it as another referral statistic to show pressure and do nothing.
The City of London Police should stick to chasing down drunks and leave proper policework to competent authorities.
XXXX did not even bother to respond.
I found out the Director’s addresses via Companies House and it took a herculean effort to refrain from using paint stripper on their cars.
Watch out for M W…..bent doesn’t come close.
Happy days. We got out of both our timeshares on the health grounds of our own instigation.

  2. Terry says:

I paid standon and Mortimer money and I’m now going through my timeshare relinquishment with a another company call Fullbrook Associates.
Process seem slow and very little update is forthcoming.
    What should I do?
