We continue to see the numerous calls from all kinds of “Claims” companies who offer their services and insist consumers need to attend meetings in the UK, Spain or receive so called “claims advisors” at home.
But not only are the calls from claims companies, there are fake notaries, fake Court houses in different countries and bogus lawyers in Tenerife, Madrid and Malaga.
Please note that cold calls are never a good starting point and make sure you do your homework before sending any personal details or money to such cold callers.
If you receive a cold call please send us all the information, as with your help we can warn others and avoid many scams happening.

New name connected with Legadidades-person to correct lost cheque – Beverley
Hello You may be interested in the following:Had a call just after 2pm today and the young woman on the phone told me that I have been allotted 3 holiday weeks and on and on and on …. etc without stopping. I asked how she got my number but she refused just went on about these fab holidays. I looked up the number 01244 752680 and found loads of people have been phoned along the same lines. It appears that timeshare operators are kidding people that they have these holiday for a cheap price but you will have to attend, guess what? a selling session. You might like to warn people about this sc**. Thanks for your help Anne
