Has Martinez Notarias contacted you already?

A new cold caller by the name of Martinez Notarias has been brought to our attention.

A lady called Victoria Holmes cold calls timeshare consumers who have been dealing with other dubious companies in the past such as Ramirez & Ramirez.

She knows exactly what the consumers paid to these companies and how they paid.

Victoria Holmes from Martinez Notarias claims she can recover the money for the consumers and on top a substantial compensation as well.

After the initial conversation she sends the consumer an email asking them to complete a ‘Non Spanish residents tax exemption form‘ that they should then fax (not post) back to her.

The form she sends is actually a copy taken from the Internet for the refund of VAT paid by non-residents in Spain. Nothing to do with any Court claim or compensation pay out.

But it looks official and this confuses the innocent consumers.

Victoria is emailing from the following address martineznotarias@gmail.com a Gmail account with no domain attached, no web, no nothing!

Telephone numbers used for Martinez Notarias:

(+34) 603208693 and Fax: 070 1197 2107

Please note this is a SCAM!

There is no such thing as money recovered out of the blue, and notaries contacting you asking where you want the 20k!

If you also received a call from Victoria Holmes acting on behalf of the fake Martinez Notarias, please send us the information.

We have been contacted by Victoria and received an e-mail with a form to fill in. And an invoice to send them £650. We said we suspected it was a scam as we have been caught before but she continued to argue and say she was genuine.

  2. Shirley says:

My call came from Juliet Sinclair a few days ago and when I replied to her email containing an invoice for £850 and details of how to make the transfer by saying this seemed very similar to the numerous scams previously tried on we unlucky purchasers of timeshare I got another lengthy call which sounded so plausible I said I would think about it.
    Glad I checked here

  3. Anthony says:

We have been contacted from the email
notariasmartinez@gmail.com. Calls kept coming asking us for money to obtain our refund. We said we wanted proof, and they even sent an attachment “Guarantee” from the Notary!
In the meantime we had found out through google that this was a scam.
The only thing which was different is that the lady contacting us each time was Emily Thorpe.

  4. Ann says:

Emily Thorpe is contacting us about a sum of 12,980 euros embargoed in 2005/6. Maritimo Marketting and Keystone Properties …last contact with them 12 years ago!!!
To release the embargo we need to pay the notaries Martinez £850.
These people sound so plausible…how do you differentiate the good from the bad?!
    Ann

  5. Chris says:

Emily Thorpe has rung yet again, saying that she has established that we have a genuine claim against KPTA S.L., originally through Ramirez & Ramirez and that the £7,600 can be released by payment to the notaries, details of which she will send me by email. She says that we can speak tomorrow, after I have received the emailed documents.
    Her contact No. is 0034634173099
    Have we been here before?!!

    Chris

    • Dave says:

Hi Chris Emily Thorpe rang me today for the second time saying about the same sort of thing. Received email payment to the notaries £850 do you now if this is a sure scam

  6. STEPHEN says:

I was contacted by Andrea Moore, from Martinez Notarias, offering 21k also on 7th Nov, when I mentioned Mindtimeshare on her last phone call on the 9th Nov,she said they were the bane of her life. She has tried very hard to get me to pay an upfront fee, 850, even though I told her I would never do this.

  7. C S says:

Have you heard of Peter Shaw, from Martinez Notarias, have had one or two calls from him offering a payout, thanks
