Cold calling company by the name of Capital Alliance has started their activity recently.
The lady on the phone goes by the name of Nadia Rushworth.
Nadia seems to know a lot about the consumer she is contacting as she has all the details of the holiday package the consumer purchased many years ago.
What Nadia is calling for, on behalf of Capital Alliance, is a possible refund claim of all the money paid towards the holiday package.
All the consumer needs to do is fly out to Tenerife.
The accommodation will be paid for but the consumers needs to pay their own flight.
In Tenerife, Capital Alliance will explain all about the claim, sign the consumer up, and what is even better, it is on a no win no fee basis.
Only when the refund has been approved, the consumer will have to pay Capital Alliance a 20% over the awarded amount.
Strange enough there is no information at all about any company in Tenerife by the name of Capital Alliance.
The telephone number 0845 095 0135 brings up though numerous comments from consumers who were approached on a same cold call.
Capital Alliance has no website either as the email from Nadia is nadiacapitalalliance@gmail.com
In the follow up email from Capital Alliance, another phone number is mentioned as well: 08456213304
A familiar number from the so-called “self employed” financial advisors from Tenerife we wrote about not so long ago.
All with the same pitch as Claim your Claim; Refund my Funds; Island Breaks, etc.
Please do not fall for this pitch. There are no claims in Tenerife, and travelling to Tenerife only to be “informed” about a no win no fee claim, makes no sense.
And don’t ever think “what possibly could go wrong…” because too many consumers came out of these meetings with agreements to pay close to 10K, loans they didn’t know about, accommodation weeks for ridiculous prices and worse of all, NO CLAIM!
have you heard of Platinum services&admin they contacted me today thursday about getting composation.Would be interested in your observations, thank you
A familiar scam; I fell foul of a similar one a few years ago. I was invited to Tenerife on a ‘pay-your-own-fare’ only basis and just had to agree to discuss a different level of Club Class membership. I was assured there would be no ‘hard sell’. There was! The good news is that I paid the required fee by credit card and, having learned that what I had been told in Tenerife was not in fact true, I was able to obtain a full refund from the credit card company. So I did actually enjoy a cheap holiday in Tenerife.
