Did you receive a call from Arley Associates (fake) to recover money paid to WTC Admin?

A cold calling company using the name Arley Associates is contacting consumers who previously paid to WTC Admin.

A Mr. Paul Lambert from Arley Associates explains the consumer that the Class Action claim they joined through WTC Admin has been successful.

But as WTC Admin has gone into liquidation they are now unable to take this further and pay the awarded money to the consumers.

Arley Associates can though complete this procedure for the consumer and all they need for their services is an upfront fee of £400.

This money is to be transferred into a UK bank account for which they don’t provide the account holders name.

The telephone number from Arley Associates is: 0208 076 0161

They arrange all by telephone and none of their statements are backed up with any documentation, email or proper company information.

Companies House does have companies registered by the name of Arley Associates but none of them is based in London and nothing indicates these could be the same people as these strange cold callers.

WTC Admin or Willard Thomas Claims has never done court claims or class actions against any company. The company is indeed dissolved / in liquidation as per the Companies House record.

Consumers dealings with WTC Admin is certainly not public knowledge, or available at a “court register” etc.

Receiving a cold call from people who know all about the dealings a consumer had with mentioned company is certainly NOT a good sign.

If Paul Lambert or any other supposed agent from Arley Associates contacts you with a similar story, please do let us know.

I too was contacted by Paul Lambert and David W of Arley Assocoates. They had details and password so we stupidly sent £866 which was 10% of the money we would receive. NOT. WE had further correspondence from Arley but no cash.
Last week I received a call from Dave ( no surname) stating he was working with a fraud department based in Majorca. He knew about Paul L and that we had paid money. Dave was very keen for me to give bank details of where I sent money. At the time I did not have details to hand. David said he would call back using “code blue” so I would know it was him.
HE called today still stating he was working with a Fraud Dept. I refused to give him any bank details and ended the conversation. Dave was calling from a withheld number.

Paul L did contact me saying that arley associates limited could recover the money I originally paid out for a holiday package. The upfront cost was £400 + £700 to get copies of documents from WTC. I paid £1100 but have not heard anything about recovering the original money I paid out to GB Services in Tenerife. Seems another sc**?

I was contacted this morning by Paul Lambert wanting £400 pounds for a claim against WTC he
had all the details of my dealings with WTC

  4. George says:

I was contacted this morning by Paul Lambert of Arley Associates who appeared to know all the dealings I had previously had with WTC. He required an initial payment of £400 in order to start the process to claim back an award I had received from Barclaycard (interest and compensation). On receipt of paperwork another £700 would be required . I would not pay straight away and on conducting a search, thankfully found your website .

I was contacted by Paul Lambert,I transferred £400, the following day I received by post a invoice for the a further £ 700. 2day later I received by registered post a file of photo copies of paperwork I had sent to TWC.over my claim with RCI.

  6. Duncan says:

I have just been contacted by Mr Paul Lambert. Again wanted £400 to do whatever. Was loathe to take no for an answer. Knew my WTC password and many other details. Is this an ex-employee of WTC on a scam run? Pointed him out to your website with the uncomplimentary comments. Smacks of a scam, good job we read your web site

  7. Carol says:

I was contacted by Paul Lambert last week same scenario. He knew all my details even my password on my WTC Administration claim. I was to pay £400 to receive my claim money in 6weeks. Thankfully I haven’t paid it.

  8. Peter says:

I idiotically did this as the said Mr Paul Lambert had every detail of my dealings and as WTC administration had been successful in a claim I decided he was legitimate. More fool me. So I have been scammed twice on this money.
