Another cold caller has been brought to our attention this week, this one by the name of Timeshare Termination Team UK.
This company is not to be mistaken with a company by the exact same name which has been doing business in the USA for years.
The one that is cold calling mainly UK consumers is Timeshare Termination Team UK with their website timeshareterminationteam.co.uk
On the website, it is mentioned that Timeshare Termination Team is a trading style of Exit My Timeshare Group.
The website seems to be full of inconsistencies. They claim to have been around since 2014, but the web was registered in June 2019.
So far, they say they have terminated over 500 Timeshare contracts, and recovered over £600,000 in claims for their clients. Which seems an awful lot of money in only 4 months’ time.
In the different sections of the web, it looks like there is a lot of information, but we were unable to find, for example, a Companies House registration number for Timeshare Termination Team or Exit my Timeshare Group.

Your latest report about Timeshare Termination Team prompted me to report on an experience my wife and I have just had while on holiday in Tenerife. We were on a promotional holiday with a company called Luxury Linx and we have no complaints about them except they had organised a presentation with a company called Centaurus Mediation. Although we have been on a number of presentations this one was particularly dreadful. It was very aggressive, almost from the start with them being extremely critical of Timeshare, Diamond Resorts and Apollo, who they described as asset strippers, who were going to sell off the resorts that Diamond have. Everything we said about Timeshare they put down in a very aggressive and rude way. They said they would take the timeshare off us, because we would not be able to get out of paying maintenance charges for years, nor would our children if we passed it on to them. When we said we were not interested in them taking the timeshare off us, with them being able to rent it back a manager was called over whose name was Gordon and used to work for EZE group. He said we were to be given the A to Z treatment ie keeping us there as long as possible. After a while we got very frustrated and annoyed with the continued aggression and in the end I became unwell I think they realised they had gone too far with us and said we could leave and a driver took us back to our resort where I recovered. . We have owned with Diamond and their predecessors for 27 years and have been very satisfied with our time with them, but this sort of presentation caused us to worry. I hope you can warn other timeshare owners about our experience with Centaurus Mediation and if they have an offer of a promotional holiday with a presentation, that they check with the holiday supplier that it is not with Centaurus Mediation.
