Cold calls from a lawyer’s office this time under the name of Ubeda Felix y Asociados.
The person calling from this office based in Avda. Ancha de Castellar 69, 03690 San Vicente del Raspeig on the Costa Blanca, speaks with a Belgium accent.
The agent from Ubeda Felix y Asociados claims they are doing court cases against the different timeshare Companies and the timeshare owner can claim back the money paid. All Ubeda Felix y Asociados asks for is a 10% over the claim, but they want this upfront!
The website of this company www.ubedafelixyasociados.com was registered on the 25th of July 2012, so that is very recent!

There is no registration number on the website from any lawyer, no full name of the lawyer and neither is there a company registered at the Spanish Companies House under this name.
The fact that they cold call gives us all the reasons to distrust as this is against the law in Spain and a legal company will never use a cold call as approach to a client.

We to have been contacted in the past few weeks by Peter Jackson (must be his brother)
Like you we have followed it up and are now advised that the monies due to us are being held in a holding account in order to release they want the 10% commission and copies of passports.
I must admit the paper work which has all been emailed does not look very official especially the Court document which is in Spanish with transfer to English attached. I must admit that I am very doubtful. I am told that they are unable to deduct the commission and send the balance.
I note that the person the 10% is to be paid to is Joerg Felix Uehlinger I see that this name has already had a mention on this site before. Have googled the address shows the map(2008) to see if this address is for real and it comes up as a bank with a floor to let above. The request for copies of passport also gives room for concern as they are the ones who contacted us.
Any suggestions on where to go from here would be appreciated before we receive another polite phone call.
We were contacted last week by a Colin Jackson, sounded too good to be true, but followed up with it. We are now told the amount has been granted by the Spanish courts, but they want the 10% commission before the bankers draft for the settlement amount can be despatched, which we were uncomfortable with, plus they want copies of our passports. Not really sure what to do – any help would be appreciated.
