Captura de pantalla 2016-05-31 a la(s) 16.14.04

Dear All,

The month of May has given us 63 cold calling companies of which 19 companies are new on the report.

A couple of names do sound familiar though as there are companies who are slightly changing their names, but they are the same people with the same offers.

Most of the companies who are cold calling are offering claims of some kind against the resorts, disposal services or discounted holiday accommodation packages.

A complete list of all the May 2016 cold callers can be found on the following link:

Mindtimeshare Cold Caller May 2016

The new company names spotted in May are the following:

  • Auxiliares Lawyers
  • Carbonell Inmobiliaria (fake)
  • Charles Ashford Consultants
  • Collaborative Returns
  • Consumer Timeshare Watchdog
  • Estilo Travel SA
  • Galacho del Castillo
  • HK Ruben Consultants
  • Jose Antonio Sanchez Ruiz
  • Juanelo Atocha
  • Juzgados de Malaga
  • Maraccord
  • Maria Teresa Jimenez Romero
  • Miguel Mesa Martinez
  • Mini Break Away
  • New Line Vacation
  • Resorts International
  • Timeshare Consumer Care
  • Worldwide Resorts

Please always remember that a cold call is never a good start for a company, and if the cold caller seems to know more about you than you about them, alarm bells should be ringing!

Do let us know about these calls as this is of great help with our investigations and it is proven so far that with our warnings and articles on the blog a lot of consumers are alerted before going into business with the cold callers.

Thanks as always to all those who have provided us with information in the past month about above mentioned companies.

Do you know anything about CMR -Claim Management Refunds, in Spain? I’ve been cold called by them a week ago. Asked to identify companies with which I. Have dealt since 2008 and told today that I am owed compensation of £31,000+. In order to receive this I need either a UK or Spanish solicitor which would cost about £10,000. CMR could do the job for £6,400. I don’t know what to do. Any ideas? Maggie

Hi Alberto and Colleagues. This morning I received a call from Angela of Marshall Hastings in London telling me they had a cheque for over £18000 for me as compensation from the courts in Spain for dubious selling of holiday weeks. I would receive the cheque by courier tomorrow as long as I met all the criteria. However,on checking everything, they found that there was a block on my receiving this due to a non-payment by me for the sale of these weeks. She said if I could telephone Garcia and Harmann solicitors in Spain on 0034603331699 explain the situation and ask them to remove the block to enable my cheque to be released. This I duly did, speaking to Isabella Garcia, she told me the block was due to the transfer fee of £980 for the sale of these weeks had not been paid and It could not be paid by credit card only by bank transfer. The block could not be removed until I had paid it. I said I couldn’t afford to pay that amount and that the money was something I didn’t have so wouldn’t miss. A little while later Angela rang me again to see how I’d got on. I told her all and she said maybe she could ring Isabella to see if a solution could be found. A little while later, Isabella rang again saying she had spoken to her colleague Harry, who was supposedly in court, and he could solve the problem. Could I go to a Euro Change and make a payment on my credit card to:
    H Hermann, La Caixa Bank
She also said I may be able to get this payment back too.
I am now waiting for a call from Angela again.
    I’ll keep you informed!
