So many new names and so few new pitches. Yet again a new company has been brought to our attention that is cold calling for an appointment to a meeting to discuss a claim.
This time we have Shakespeare Marketing
The agent of Shakespeare Marketing explains that their company is offering timeshare relinquishment, and claiming services, against timeshare resorts for mis-selling
Their website http://shakespearemarketing.co.uk only describes them as lead generators and appointment setters, nothing about any legal services. So it seems unusual that the person calling can make statements on the phone to a consumer about his possibility to do a claim or not…
In reality it isn’t Shakespeare Marketing at all who will be doing the talk at the meeting!
Once the first contact has been made, the consumer is explained that they are working with a number of legal teams across the UK and the legal actions are processed by “claims assessors” who will value the claim, on the day.
The claims Shakespeare Marketing offer are as they say on a No win No fee basis, and only in the case of a winning claim they will charge a 30% over the awarded amount.
This sounds all quiet good, but as with many of these companies, they don’t really let people walk out of the meeting without paying for something…
So they do have the translation costs to cover, which need to be paid upfront,…and they also explain to the consumer that when they claim against their resort they cannot really continue to be a member of the resort. So guess what? Yes they offer a relinquishment service, which does cost several thousands of pounds and need to be paid upfront.
So much for a no win no fee chat.
Contact details for Shakespeare Marketing are telephone 0121 667 4692 and email info@shakespearemarketing.co.uk
So far we have not received any feedback of any consumer about a successful claim done for them after taking up the meeting invitation from Shakespeare Marketing and signing up for the services offered.
If Shakespeare Marketing has contacted you from 01216674692 and invited you to a meeting in Redditch or their satellite office in Manchester, please do let us know.

Was contacted by Shakespeare and went to Standon Mortimer at Coventry. They knew the timeshare game inside out and offered to take our claim forward “no win no fee”. Apparently there is time pressure as the timeshare companies are leaving Europe to evade EU law. – very plausible. Then came the hook – the offer to remove our names from the deeds. Taylor Marshall is the agent for this ‘work’. Non-refundable deposit required – payable to Standon Mortimer – and full payment within a week. Thousands of pounds. I suppose the usual adage “if it sounds too good to be true it probably is”..Standon Mortimer say you can’t lose if you pay by credit card but Consumer Credit act specifically excludes money paid to agents for services performed by other companies. I have not received a response to this point yet.from Standon.

Shakespeare Marketing and Leyland Marketing Consultants appear to be the same company. I have an email from Heidi of Leyland in which she says ‘We at Shakespeare Marketing are here at your disposal…’ and their websites are virtually identical.
We have been contacted for a meeting in Coventry, I asked for an address where in Coventry and the lad on the phone didn’t even know address, when I spoke to his manager she made an excuse of he’s new and is still learning the ropes. What rubbish if you are arranging a meeting shouldn’t you at least know something as simple as address. Needless to say we will not be attending meeting.
I was contacted by Shakespeare Marketing last week said that I would consider their offer if they wrote to me I have now received the letter. After doing a little research I will not be proceeding with this as it appears it’s just another cold call scam
What I would like to know is how the various companies that have contacted me about my timeshare got my details surely I should be protected by The Data Protection Act!
Received a call from Derek saying we had a valid claim. Left it with us, then contacted us again to attend a meeting at offices in Coventry. He then called again saying they had arranged a meeting on the 24 June with Standon Mortimer. To think we are going to travel 135 miles to be given the same spill – I don’t think so!!!!!!!
Dialed 01216679401 and asked about a telesales job at the company, spoke to a lady Jacqueline who advised she was manager and also of their rather not so Birmingham location. Please advise if you were told the actual location was indeed in SPAIN
If anyone else has experienced yet more lies from this company
we are having a meeting on Monday from these people, will let you know how we get on.we won’t be paying any money up front.
Hi – we have been contacted and arranged an appointment for 24 June in Manchester. How did your meeting go?
