A bogus resale company was brought to our attention under the name of Remaxi Vacation.
Remaxi Vacation cold calls mainly French Timeshare owners and is telling them a story about a corporate buyer they already have on hold, keen on buying their weeks, and the price offered is of course above the current market price.
The company that is supposed to buy timeshare weeks is WHG Group Ltd. from Hong Kong.
The timeshare owner is asked for a payment.
Remaxi Vacation sends the consumer a copy of a (fake) resale contract and they claim money for resale rights and land registration.

Dear Sirs, I wonder if you might be able to help?
I have received a “Cold Call” from the above Company offering me a means of getting out of my Timeshare. Do you know anything about this Company?
The information they gave me was that they worked through Zoom Meetings and scheduled one for me at 1pm this afternoon. Fortunately or unfortunately I will not be available as it turns out, because a Medical Appointment has been changed so I will not be available at !pm.
They left me a telephone number 0161 710 0098 and an email address aegisdirectsl.com. I have rung twice this morning to cancel the Zoom Meeting and on each occasion received this message on the phone “The other person has hung up”.
We own in perpetuity and the representative for Timeshare Support Centre stated on the phone that, “ If the Timeshare Company was liquidated then we would be responsible for paying “all fees due” to the liquidators”
The lady “Paulina” also stated that this was because of Brexit and the European Law stating that after SIX YEARS NON-PAYMENT OF FEES they could no longer claim fees and we would be liable for any Winding Up costs.
Over the years I have followed your various posts on the internet but never thought that I might need your actual services. Both my wife and I are in our late eighties and, as my wife now refuses to fly – she was never very keen anyway – the likelihood of using OVBC ever again are negligible. We were under the impression that we had “unloaded” the Timeshare but still receive an annual Invoice which we never pay. Have you had any dealings with this Company?
