What is exactly the offer from Supreme Services?

Consumers are starting to advise us about a “new” cold caller Supreme Services.

Supreme Services www.supreme-services.co.uk has an email for contact:

admin@supreme-services.co.uk and telephone 0845 075 8250

But that is all there is! No address, no identification who they are on the web and on the contact details only the phone number and the email….

Somewhere in the text they mention they are based in the Birmingham…not very detailed for a company that supposedly is experienced and deals with thousands of customers!

The website was created at the far end of 2010, but on the main page they pride themselves of over 30 years’ experience in the Timeshare marketing sector.

The exact offer is not given by the agent who cold calls. The agent actually invites the timeshare owner to a meeting where the disposal / sale of the timeshare will be discussed. That sounds familiar!

Most worrying thing is that only if you agree to go to the meeting you will finally get an address! What is the mystery about with the location? They do mention their client is UK based…ok, that is an indication…

Quote from the website: “Following the meeting if you accept their offer, you leave the meeting with your title deeds. The client then carries out a background security check on the property. This takes an average of 4-6 weeks to process.  You will receive any agreed payment after the background security checks have been completed.  Once the payment is received, the ownership documents are transferred.”

Now that sounds really good! No upfront fee, you keep the paperwork and still they send you the money for the sale, WOW! Too good to be true?

Have you been called by Supreme Services 08450758250 ? Please let us know!

I bought CPO form Travel & Leisure 10 Years ago – paid them £3,000 and have been trying to sell the same time share through them for the last 5 years – paid them about £220 to sell it, but have never had a single nibble ever though I am prepared to let it go for £500 or less – so my experience with them has not been good.
As to Supreme Services, they have sent me the Rushden appointment and all the :

” This is a no-fee, no-obligation visit for us to help you and we must stress that our client is NOT involved in any of the following
    • Holiday clubs
    • Cash-back schemes
    • Compensation claims
    • Foreign Buyers ”

fillips, but after reading this blog, it seems a total waste of time and wont attend.

    • Dear John,
      Thanks for your comment.
These meetings always turn out to be something else than really disposing of your timeshare, so caution is always needed.
      Kind regards

Well, in the end I am going to the meeting with Supreme Services just to see what they have to say. Will report back on it after the meeting so that others can know about it. I have been with Travel and Leisure Group, the Suffolk one, but have had no luck so far selling my timeshare weeks. Good to know though that they are okay.

    • Hi Judy,
Thanks for your comments on the blog.
Please keep us posted on the meeting.
Make sure you don’t take your credit card with you!
      Kind regards

      • Judy says:

In the end I didn’t go as I have some outstanding payments to a finance company and that wouldn’t do for the investors they have who are interested in buying at this time.

  3. Judy says:

    Thanks Patrick.

  4. Judy says:

By the way, where do these cold callers get our details from? Our phone numbers, our email addresses, our names and what properties we own?

  5. S Swaine says:

I to have been contacted by this company and they have e.mailed me details of their services and what they offer. I assume they will contact me again but I will not be going to Manchester as suggested by them as obvious they are yet again a dubious scam organisation.Hope this helps other people who like us are stuck with timeshare we no longer want.

    • Thanks for your message.
Wise decision not going to this meeting!
      Kind regards

All these companies who try to get you to a meeting want to pitch something to you – and it won’t be to your advantage.

We just sold our timeshare – and I’ve posted a report about it. We approached them, they found a buyer, and the whole thing was smoothly run from their end. It took ages, but that was because of complications on our side. The buyer was extremely patient, and I have now got rid of two unwanted weeks – plus, they took on this year’s fees!

Nice to know there are some reputable companies. (But not many!)

      • colette cheney says:

Hi, I too have been contacted by Supreme Services to attend an appointment in Manchester. After reading all the testimonials above I will not be going.

Patrick, you say you have sold your timeshare after contacting a company yourself, could you please provide details of who this company is as you here so many bad stories it is good to read you have a successful one.

        Many thanks,
        Colette.

      • Judy says:

Patrick, please tell us how you sold your timeshare..was it with Supreme Services?

      • Hi Patrick,
Thanks for your comment and advice.
This company sounds good by the way, so yes please let us know who they are.
        We need good news!
        Kind regards

      • Paul Hawkins says:

Patrick, I am in the process of trying to sell my timeshare and had a call today from Supreme Services. All the same as in this Blog.

Could you please advice me who you sold yours through?

        Thank you

        Paul Hawkins

      • Patrick Steer says:

My seller was Travel and Leisure Group. But, be careful. If you Google this name, the first two sites that come up are nothing to do with this group. You want travelandleisure.co.uk, , based in Sudbury in Suffolk. They have a proper British address, a real telephone number, you can call them on an 0800 number, and they are a properly registered UK company.

        How different is that?

They did charge a fee of £173, but this was refunded with our sales proceeds. (They also refunded the transfer fees charged by Anfi Group, which we had paid direct to Anfi.)

In effect, they did what they said they would do, and were helpful throughout.

Patrick Steer (I couldn’t find a way to reply to the people who were asking)

      • Thanks Patrick for the information.
We know this company as they are RDO Affiliated, so with that you know they will work by the rules.
(There is an updated list of affiliated resale companies on the RDO website for those who are interested http://www.rdo.org)
I am very pleased for you!
        Kind regards

  7. Karen Brown says:

I have just been called by Supreme Services & they will not give a company address, registartion number VAT number etc. I also asked them where they had obtained my details from & they refused to divulge,
In my opinion this is a sam & everyone should steer clear of them

    • Hi Karen,
Thanks for your message on the blog, that sounds indeed very dodgy when you ask for details and they will not give them to you!
Maybe because they are not registered at all?
Hanging up is the best to do with calls from companies like this.
      Kind regards

  9. alan smith says:

i have been looking through this web site and the telephone patter seams very similar to cedar consultants. i may be wrong but could they be one and the same.

  10. alan smith says:

thanks pateesh very helpfull. it is just how i thought it would be.

  11. alan smith says:

i to have been contacted by this company.i have an appointment in two weeks.i am very sceptical.i may not bother sounds like another scam.any one been can you offer first hand knowledge.

    • pateesh says:

Alan – I have been to one of these (not necessarily this company). It was at a small commercial estate quite close to Birmingham Airport. If we sold them our two floating weeks at Monte Anfi they would give us £6,000 worth of investment in their new development – which was not yet built – provided that we added a further amount. From memory, about £30,000.

The unconditional offer was nearer to £500! And, may I add, they were extremely rude when I declined both deals.

My advice is, if they want you to go to a meeting, don’t go. Any reputable company will deal with you in a professional manner, and will only require evidence of ownership – not a face-to-face meeting.

I think they are working on the basis that, if you have fallen for a time-share pitch before, you might fall for theirs!

Having said that, we have now sold these weeks. We got a cheque in the post on Friday, and I’m waiting for it to clear before being prepared to give the company a testimonial. (Call me cynical!)

      • Dear Pateesh,
Thanks for your comment on the blog and the wise advice about these meetings.
We are keen to know who has sold your timeshare! Please keep us updated.
        Kind regards,
        Customer Care

      • Helen Ward says:

So did supreme Serfvices actually arrange the sale of your timeshare without you having to pay anything out?

  12. pateesh says:

These deals are all the same. They will offer you an opportunity to sell your timeshare at a good price, provided you also invest the money with them – PLUS a load more money on top. The investment is a Hotel-type complex, which when I went was in the process of being built.

Frankly, I think it’s a waste of time.

The “Unconditional” offer is derisory, and, having not accepted it I have no idea whether it actually comes to anything.

  13. allun force says:

hi mrs force again i was called today by supreme services who asked us if we wanted to go to a meeting in manchester and are awaiting an email from them are they another scam?

    • Dear Mrs. Force,
You have read the blog, they don’t sound very convincing and the comments of other consumers don’t change this perception either.
If at all attending the meeting, please make sure you don’t take your credit card or cheque book with you.
      Regards
      Customer Care
