JG Maach, the new Claims / Mediation Company from Marbella

Have you received already a cold call from the “Claims Manager” of J.G.Maach in Marbella, Spain?

Because it seems they are calling actively Timeshare owners to offer help with mediation in claims against their timeshare resort / Holiday Club.

The pitch from these companies doesn’t change, only the names of the companies do.

JG Maach is not different than the others, and after the initial cold call they send a follow up email with all the relevant paperwork. This paperwork is signed by “Samantha Reeves, Senior Legal Adviser”. Big title for a person working in a company that doesn’t seem to be registered anywhere!

The cost to initiate this mediation is £1900 upfront paid by bank transfer. That is a lot of money upfront!

So who is J.G.Maach? Because before paying out such a sum of money, at least one would like to know who they are and where they are!

Unfortunately their address in Marbella is actually a postbox: Apartado de Correos 925, 29601 Marbella, Spain.

Contact details 0845 868 70 75 and email address info@jgmaach.com

They also have a website registered since the 1st of October this year: www.jgmaach.com

The website from J.G.Maach doesn’t provide much real information either, no company registration, no lawyers or who they work with and worse of all the address as they don’t see to have an office!

If you have been contacted by the Claims Manager from J.G.Maach on telephone 08456867075 then please let us know.

Had a call fromm J G Maach stating they could get my money back on a no win no fee basis, but there would be a fee of £600 to get things started, I said goodbye and put the phone down.

  4. Alan says:

I also received a call from Lucy Jones and today have had the follow up call from ‘Samantha Reeves’ who says they are no win no fee. No mention of an upfront fee as that surely negates no win no fee. Told 12% of recovered money was there charge or 15% if went to litigation plus translation costs.
Does anybody out there know if this is another scam?

  5. Terence says:

I have received a call from JG Maach about the closure of Club Class Concierge. And how they may be able to help claim back monies paid by me to be members of the fore mentioned. I awaiting a second call from them. The person I spoke to was Lucy Jones who said it was done on a no win no fee basis. No way will I pay £1900 up front. Is this another scam?
