Victoria Marketing and Realty properties, buying freehold properties from ILG?

Victoria

A new cold caller by the name of Victoria Marketing has been brought to our attention.

The cold call from Victoria Marketing is certainly a very strange one.

Victoria Marketing claims to be acting on behalf of Realty Properties a Worldwide Real Estate company who is expanding into Europe. In order to do this they are acquiring freehold.

The story goes that Realty Properties is trying to purchase properties that belonged to ILGIncentive Leisure Group and are part of the liquidation assets of this company.

They claim that Realty Properties has already obtained 40 apartments previously owned by ILG and they are now tracing 2400 people who paid over £4000 for their ILG membership as they are technically “creditors” and can obtain a 5 to 8% benefit from these properties.

In order to take part in this they will have to travel to Marbella on the Costa del Sol where they will be taken to a Notary.

Victoria Marketing offers free accommodation for this trip. No money will be asked upfront.

So what do we know about Victoria Marketing?  They have a website: http://www.victoriamarketing.net/ which was registered in May 2013.

Address Calle Jacinto Benavente 16, L 17-20, 29600 Marbella, Spain.

Telephone number is 0034 951 24 24 38 and email: Email: info@victoriamarketing.net

Realty Properties has also a website, http://www.realty-properties.com/ which was registered on the 14th of July 2013 (!!) and they claim to be based in Singapore.

For your information there has been no assets frozen by the liquidators of ILG as there were no assets at all. Apart from this, ILG as selling a Discount Travel Membership Club had never any apartments or resorts in ownership as all their inventory was produced by rental agreements with resorts and / or Travel agents.

We certainly would recommend all ILG members to be very cautious when they receive any offer regarding their membership.

If you have been contacted by Victoria Marketing from 0034 951242438 on behalf of Realty Properties, then please let us know.
