People Connect, a timeshare resale company based in Holland

We have a new cold calling Resale Company on the list by the name of People Connect.

People Connect claims to be based in the town of Nieuw Vennep and contact details are, their address: Westerdreef 5K, 2152 CS

This company contacts Dutch speaking Timeshare owners and offers them a resale of their timeshare. People Connect claims to have many buyers waiting both individuals and companies who buy timeshare fort heir employees.

Once the timeshare owner agrees to sell, he soon receives a call from the agent from People Connect with the good news that they found a buyer.

A large company based in Hong Kong is buying several weeks at once fort heir employees. Even better news is that this company is willing to pay a substantial amount for the weeks, so it looks like a win win situation!

All the timeshare owner needs to do is supply People Connect with the copies of the paperwork related to the timeshare such as the ownership certificate, proof of payment, maintenance fees up to date, etc.

But then something goes wrong…People Connect notices that there is paperwork missing, en it turns out that the timeshare resort has not given all the papers to the owner when he purchased and even worse, it looks like they never paid any VAT over this purchase.

This needs to be sorted if the owner wants to sell, and in order to get around the whole burocratic system, it is advised that the paperwork is done through a so-called “Gestor or Asesor” in Spain.

Luckily People Connect can also put the timeshare owner in contact with a company who can sort this all, by the name of Asesoria international in Barcelona.

For around €3000 this company Asesoria International will be able to sort everything out and give the timeshare owner the possibility to sell his week.

We are afraid that the above story is not true. There is no paperwork missing from the owner certificates, there is no such company by the name of Asesoria International in Barcelona, and obviously People Connect does not have any buyer lined up to buy any timeshare.
