Consumers who bought a club Membership from Enduria Travel have been unpleasantly surprised with the news that the company is in liquidation.
Enduria Travel has been around for some years, and right from the beginning there were issues related to this company that created certain doubts.
These doubts were expressed (years ago) by Mindtimeshare to the RDO, who in spite of this still accepted Enduria Travel as their affiliated member. It is true that Enduria Travel stopped being a member of RDO many months ago.
Enduria Travel has been sending out correspondence to all their members in order to inform them that the company is in liquidation.
They start their letter as follows: ” As you will be aware by now, due to business matters beyond our control Enduria Travel has had no alternative but to enter into insolvency procedures. We are very sorry for this situation and we can assure you we fought very hard to avoid it happening. Due to these unfortunate circumstances, we legally will no longer be in a position to honour holiday certificates unused and/or trips booked…. ”
Of course the first thing that comes to mind is, what happens to the membership and it looks like Enduria travel has also thought of that and informs the consumers about the continuity of their membership but through a completely different company: ” We have contacted our suppliers to ask if they can assist our clients, so you will still have a travel product available to compensate for vouchers unused. INFINITE has very graciously accepted to help…”
This might sound as if everything is under control and the customers won’t suffer, but with a bit more of research we actually found some worrying things.
First of all in the communication from Enduria Travel, the member is asked to start a sign up for the Infinite Travel membership on their website www.infinite.travel/etsignup the website for Infinite Travel was actually registered by a company called Canadian Discount Network and we found their website as well: www.cdn.travel
Emails should though be directed to info@discountnetwork.io
None of the websites, Infinite Travel or CDN seems to have any company registration information.
Searching for more feedback on CDN we found feedback on the Web from the Better Business Bureau – BBB that lists claims from consumers (timeshare owners) who say they have been cheated (relinquish services with purchase of associated product and cash rebate that is never fulfilled): https://www.bbb.org/ca/on/burlington/profile/vacation-timeshare/the-canadian-discount-network-0107-1312101/complaints
After reading all this, how happy are the members from Enduria Travel supposed to be with this “new opportunity” to continue their membership?
