A new cold caller has seen the light by the name of Refund My Funds.

New name but similar story to various others so called “claims companies” who approach consumers and explain that the consumer needs to travel to Tenerife to discuss their claim.

The claim is supposedly on a No Win No Fee basis and people are guaranteed they will get all their money back from the purchase of their timeshare or holiday package

Refund My Funds actually knows in detail what the consumer owns or purchased, but do not really explain where they obtained this private and personal information.

The website for Refund My Funds https://refundmyfunds.org was registered on the 14th of January 2019.

They do not display a Companies House registration and no Privacy Statement, all details that a company has the obligation to display on their website.

Just a telephone number 0845 095 0080 and a contact form.

The email address given by the agent over the telephone is info@refundmyfunds.org

Refund My Funds states on their website that they have 4 offices on the different Canary Islands; Santa Cruz De Tenerife, Tenerife, Mogan, Gran Canaria, Arrecife, Lanzarote and in Tazacorte, La Palma

There is though no address mentioned for any of the offices except for the Tenerife one: Av. Angel Guimerá 67, 38003 Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Cold callers, who have all your details and offer claims but you need to travel abroad and they don’t supply any decent company details on their web, are certainly not trustworthy.

If at all you would have a possibility to claim a refund under the Consumer act for something you purchased by credit card or a claim through the spanish courts against your resort, there is NO NEED to travel anywhere and you don’t even need to receive anybody at home either!
