In spite of many warnings, not only on our blog but also on different other timeshare forums and websites, ITRA (International Timeshare Refund Action) continues their activity and continues inviting timeshare consumers to an apparent innocent meeting for consultancy only. (See links below to several publications)
Timeshare Consumers receive their invitation to a “Consultancy Appointment” this time held at their new offices in The Bretton Hall in Chester.
Question mark should be placed on how ITRA actually got the details of these consumers, as they are allegedly using owner listings from timeshare companies which go straight against the law of Privacy protection.
In case the consumer –timeshare owner- decides to go to this meeting, the so-called consultancy and information on how to dispose of the timeshare membership results in being yet another sales talk with the sole purpose of selling the consumer a membership in a Discount Holiday Club called Club Class Concierge.
For joining the Discount Holiday Club a fee of a couple of thousands (!) Pounds will be requested, but under the false pretension there won’t be any more fees from the resort, a lot of consumers think this works out in their advantage.
The consumer signs over the ownership of their existing timeshare and no more fees will be requested…well, yes until a new invoice is due and the consumer will realize no transfer was done and outstanding fees are accumulating under his name and soon the claim companies will ring his bell. When calling his resort, he will be informed that a transfer of ownership was never requested at all!
When trying to book a Discounted Holiday and Flights for the superb reduced prices they have been shown on the presentation, the consumer will also find out these prices do not exist and he will end up paying same or more for a holiday he could have booked with any high street travel agent but obviously saving the money of joining Club Class Concierge.
Did you receive your Appointment Letter like the one below?
Then think twice before going as it may turn out in a lot of grief, frustration and loss of money just because you went to visit the “free of charge” consultancy appointment.

I dont think it it is a legitimate company and is just another example of co***** hard working people out of money. Thank you to everyone who as made comments on here
I went to an appointment with them in slough and besides the chance of recouping my losses in a class action they also offered to take my timeshare points off my hands if I paid them £5200 . I haven’t got the finances at the moment so Im grateful for reading this.
I have received an invitation to attend a conultancy with ITRA in Spain with upto three nights free accomodation. They are calling me tomorrow to arrange a date. Needless to say I will not be going.
Mike
Hi, Thanks to all these comments, I have a meeting arranged for Tuesday 27th November 2012. I will not be going, got stung before with a timeshare/holiday club in Spain cost me £4000.00, although I want to dispose of my timeshare weeks, I am fed up with all the scammers working to extract more cash for no return. Perhaps the fact that we bought timeshare in the first place marks us out as gullible.
looking for someone to get us out of our timeshare received there details form ebay ? any thoughts?
They now also offer consultations in lichfield, don’t go their either, i almost fell for it a second time, due to the change from Chester, i was supposed to go tomorrow 20th July, until i clicked on to them, due to their postal addresses abroad, Spain and Gibraltar, they took me for 3k, and took my time share, and i bought into the Club class trash, not heard from them at all and they still have my timeshare, AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS, ask yourselves how did they get hold of your time share or club class details your phone number etc ??????
It there a genuine Co out they that can sell my time shares
Thank you for the information albeit too late for us as we went to Chester on tuesday 17th May at the invitation of Itra Consultants following phone call to arrange appointment, prior to visit regarding an action case, being set up against RCI with a view to receiving refunds for excessive charges, for all aspects of our timeshare ownership. We understood itra to be a legal company dealing with this legal action! They did send us the set letter described by E mail confirming the appointment, with the same wording as your example shows. The usual talk of rising maintenance costs and their suggestion that they could take over and use our Timeshare weeks at our resort and the Maintenance costs being paid by Itra (they being the people carrying out the interview).Unfortunately the costs of their taking over this did not come til later, and appeared to be a great favour to us. We took our Title deeds and they now have these We paid the deposit by Bankers transfer on 18th May of £800. after a warning from a member of our family via this website we cancelled by E mail and Letter Special Delivery! the said agreement requesting the return of our deeds and deposit paid. We await further instructions. Hoping to receive back our Title deeds.
Thank you for any help in this matter
Mr. Mrs.B.D.A
Did you ever get the deeds back?
