Timeshare Legal Solutions, how legal is their “legal” advice?

A new company by the name of Timeshare Legal Solutions has started contacting owners through email with an offer to help them out of the “Timeshare Jam”

Timeshare Legal Solutions claims to be a British based company located at Broome Park in Kent, with the sole intention of helping clients out.

As they explain in their email, their priority is reducing maintenance (if possible),re-sale on points and weeks internally and relinquishing various memberships if no longer needed.

But who are these people?

Timeshare Legal Solutions – http://timesharelegalsolutions.com/  – claims to provide legal advice to timeshare owners who might be considering to get rid of their timeshare ownerships. Promising to use British solicitors and with a 90% success rate of terminated timeshare contracts.

The first thing to highlight is that this new scheme is not listed with The Law Society, as potential clients are informed. We have been unable to find a company with similar name at the Companies House either.

Although Timeshare Legal Solutions  mention in their email that they are based at Broome Park in Kent, there is no mention of an address on the website, and as a matter of fact there is no mention at all of any company identification details such as address, registration number, etc.

All there is are the telephone numbers 01227 833275 which is a Canterbury Code but could be redirected to anywhere in the world, another landline 0115 7149943 and the Spanish Mobiles (0034) 634 609 376 & (0034) 660 356 552

Why a supposed UK based Legal Firm uses a Spanish Mobile for customer inquiries is a mystery!

Although they claim to have over 24 years of experience in this business, it is worth indicating that the domain name of Timeshare Legal Solutions was registered just this last January 16th (2012).

With the above information we have found enough reasons to place a warning on the blog and ask for precaution when dealing with this company.

If you have been approached by Timeshare Legal Solutions by email or from telephone 01227833275, then we would like to know.

I first came across this company 6 months ago when I was approached by a gentleman, I was on holiday in Malaga drinking in one of the local bars with my wife and got talking to him. Eventually the timeshare subject came up and he explained he operated a company called Timeshare Legal Solutions, he explained that he had been in the industry for many years, but now concentrated on releasing timeshare owners from their ownership. After talking for several hours, we decided that we would employ M to release us from our timeshare ownership, which he stated would be complete within 4 weeks. We parted with £2000, and was instructed to post him all of our timeshare paperwork and certificates. Since unfortunately meeting him, we have heard very little from him, except one call requesting further funds should we like him to chase compensation from our ownership company, and 2 weeks ago received our maintenance bill from our timeshare company, we did phone M, but have been unable to get hold of him, and it has also been confirmed that we still own our weeks with our timeshare company. So, PLEASE STEER CLEAR AWAY FROM THIS C** MAN, I AM £2000 DOWN, AND STILL OWN MY TIMESHARE.

This man needs to be stopped he took over £4,000 from my 86 year old blind grandmother to get her out of timeshare over 2 years latter she has just got her timeshare bill for 2014. He has never returned her calls. Do not fall for his charms, he targets the old people.

We met this man in May 2012 in Benalmadena. Our story is very similar to yours and he taken us for £1680. For what it is worth, I have reported him and his company to Action Fraud and have posted warnings on Facebook and Twitter
