Is Solution for Timeshare another solution offered by ITRA?

A new website has been brought to our attention by the name of Solution for timesharewww.solutionfortimeshare.com

Timeshare owners have been contacted by email, stating that “previously” they filled in a form on this website about disposal / resale information and they are asked if they are still interested.

Strange thing is that a lot of consumers do not seem to remember filling out such form.

Solution for Timeshare does not really offer a lot of company information on their website. The contact details reduce to a telephone number 0845 095 1448 and a new number 0800 058 8690 plus email address: info@solutionfortimeshare.com

No office address, no Company registration number and not even an indication about where they are. Neither are there any Term and Conditions on the web or privacy policy.

This company is connected to ITRA the International Timeshare Refund Action.

This is actually not surprising as in the email sent out by Solutions for Timeshare there is a mention of “legal advice” with disposal and on the web itself they speak about appointments in their “consultancy centers”.

Please always be careful when it comes to contacts with companies through email or phone calls that you have not really asked for.

Always do your research and make sure that you check your facts before taking up the services of companies that claim they are the “only ones” to be able to help you with issues related to your timeshare.

If you have received a telephone call or email from Solution for Timeshare, we would like to know.

You can email us or place a comment on this blog.

Just been cold called by Geraldine from Solutions for Timeshare. She sounded very convincing when asking about my timeshare and the maintenance charges. She said they offer free advice for people who want to rid themselves of their timeshare. She said they have offices in Stoke on Trent, Leeds & Chelmsford, but have satellite offices in other parts of the country that are not manned all the time and that she would be able to arrange an appointment in the city nearest to where I live. Sounds dodgy to me. These people are very convincing. I am always cautious and feel angry that these people pray on people who do not know where to turn regarding the disposal of their timeshare. Shame on them. She had details of my email address and said she would email me with some information. She said to check my spam as she has found that their emails quite often end up in the spam folder.

I have just had a call from them saying you have to be very careful as there are so many companies out there taking money and not getting you out your contract, and that they are honest and trustworthy and it would benefit me to see them, I didn’t make a appointment as I don’t know who to trust , it’s so annoying as I so want to get out of the timeshare and all these people sound so honest and real

I have just been contacted by Solution for Timeshare through a a company called Telesales 9, the lady (Deborah) told me she was phoning on their behalf and she could put me on to a another person who could arrange for a meeting in “solutions: local office where my papers would be examined and I would be transferred to an English company of Solicitors who would be able.at a fee, get my money back for me. I ask her o send me an e-mail with all their details and I would peruse it before committing myself to a meeting. She did this and on the e-mail is a link for me to fill in called “Take Your Free Assessment. In other words please give us all your details, I shall not do this.

We have just been called by solution, offering advise as a lot of people have called them complaining of high maintenance and being unable to get out of timeshare. so they say. I don’t give any cold callers any info as I’m annoyed they have my details of timeshare ownership and my phone number.

  5. Shaun says:

Hi I was contacted by solutions for timeshare, They said they have offices all over but nothing in Bristol at the moment but they were hoping to open up a site very soon, 4 days later the same guy called to say they now have offices and offered a few appointments That I could choose from???

  6. Chris says:

My husband was cold called by Solution for Timeshare a couple of weeks ago. We were supposed to visit their office in Stoke but decided to cancel. The person on the phone persuaded my husband to rebook however since reading your site, we have cancelled. I would recommend your site to anyone who receives these calls.

  7. Anne says:

I had a meeting with someone from Solution for timeshare and to be honest I’m a bit sceptical!

  8. chris says:

hi my parents have been contacted by solutions for timeshare and are going to see them regarding rci and clc has any one any advice on this matter

    • Hi Chris,

We recommend your parents to read carefully all articles and comments regarding ITRA in this blog. And, if they still feel like going to see them, we recommend them to take time to think and the most important, to leave credit cards at home.

      Regards.

  10. Susan says:

I was contacted a few days ago by someone claiming to be connected with RCI. I asked how they knew my details and they said through my membership with CLC. I told them I was not interested in any offers or exchanges and put the phone down. Today we were contacted by Solutions offering a service to follow up on high maintenance fees. When challenged as to how they have our details Andrea replied saying that we had filled in a complaints form- we never have. We sked for details of what they are offerering in writing and rang off. I don’t expect to receive anything in hard copy.

  11. Sheila says:

I have just been contacted by these people – again. We fell for the scam last year and went along to a meeting with them where we realised what was happening and walked away.
When they rang today the situation soon became threatening and I was actually asked how my husband was after his heart attack – what heart attack? When I still said I wasn’t interested in leaving our time share the conversation ended with the woman snapping at me that “you just carry on throwing your money away for nothing then.”
I am feeling vulnerable, threatened and very uneasy about these people. Any advice?
    Sheila

  12. John says:

We have recently been contacted by Andrea at Solution for Timeshare and have been offered a consultation at The Consultancy Centre, Brampton Business Centre, Office No 2, Brampton Trees, 10 Queen Street, Newcastle under Lyme. We are very dubious about this company as we are with any cold callers. They stated that due to a Spanish Supreme court ruling earlier this year, regarding the Anfi Group, they contacted Club la Costa who were duty bound to give our name and contact number. Andrea was very evasive when fees were discussed. We are deperate to try and get out of our contract with CLC. We also want to recover monies paid if that is possible. We want to do this through a reputable company and are not sure Solution for Timeshare are reputable. We would appreciate feedback from anyone who has had dealings with them.

  13. Garth says:

My wife was telephoned yesterday 2/9/15 by a lady calling herself Andrea who offered to make a consultancy booking for us in order to check the legality of the selling method employed by our timeshare company. No win no fee, based in Stoke on Trent .We have been conned once before and it looks to me like this company are also not what they claim to be.

    • Heath says:

i too have received two seperate telephone calls with the same information. I requested that they sent me an email containing all the information. When the email arrived it was from ITRA. The second phone call came 48 hours later and there was no mention of the previous call. To be truthful the voice on the phone is exactly the same as other companies we have heard from that have turned out to be cons. My advice would be to give this company a wide berth.

  14. John says:

I have received a cold call from Julie Solomon at Solution for Timeshare stating they are forming a class action against Diamond. It was suggested that I could attend one of its centres at Newcastle-under-Lyme or Manchester. I don’t know how they get hold of the details of Diamond members but it is not the first company to contact me re terminating my membership.

  15. paul says:

I have been approached by them to go to an office in Brampton Business Centre Newcastle U Lyme to discuss taking part in a class action against Diamond, they have said it is on a no win no fee basis but they will receive 40% of any award. I was told there are nearly 10000 people signed up and once it hits this figure it becomes a class action, they also said with this amount of people the judge would find in favour of the owners as not all 10000 would be telling lies about how they were sold their timeshare. I have told them that over the years I have been approached by so many different companies who can help us and mentioned ITRA, they told me they are only involved in this class action case and do not sell or buy timeshare !!

  16. Audrey says:

Have been contacted by solution for timeshare. They are prepared to put me up for the night near their Chelmsford branch. They cannot give any figures. I bet they will want a deposit on the day. I think this another money making Con? To get out of my timeshare I have to deal directly with them. ITRA was another.

    • Richard says:

I have made an appointment at their Swindon office but am dubious about going. Did you actually get as far as meeting them to find out whether they are genuine or not ?

      • Debbie says:

Hi richard I was wondering did you go for your appointment with solutions , as they have offered me an appointment this month in Glasgow and as I live in Belfast I will need to take a flight over , they offers to put me up in a hotel near the office, I am very nervous as I am a single parent and just don’t no what to do as I really want to believe this company can help me to dispose of my timeshare so much , be really grateful if u can let me know thankyou

      • Hi Debbie,
        Thanks for your message.
We just sent you an email back with more information about this company.
Let us know if we can be of any further help.
        Kind regards

  17. Wendy says:

I have been contacted by this organization and after reading your blog I am very dubious about them
I have also been contacted by a firm called Justice 4 ltd another cold call and would be interested what things I ought to check out before I agree to take up their very generous offer of reducing their fee by 500pounds if I sign up before the end of the financial year this week
My view is if it can be offered at this price this week then why not the rest of the year
Interestingly I have been offered a 5 bedroom property in June from RCI these calls within days of each other do you think this is a case of hand in glove
