Dear All,

We have closed an extreme hot July month of 2015 with a cold caller list of 100 companies that have been active over this past month. From the 100 active companies, there are 22 new names that appeared on the list.

For a complete list of the cold callers please click on the following link:

Cold Caller July 2015

On the list as always, we don’t only publish the names of the actual “cold callers” but also names of connected companies who appear in the paperwork when dealing with the cold caller, or dubious companies with websites that lack all kind of information and details.

It shows once more that the dubious callers do not take a break for the summer and as a matter of fact they seem very active.

Looking at the “new” companies it jumps out that a lot are using the word “fiscal”, “notary”, “court” and “legal”. Please be very careful when a call is received from people claiming to be working for any official entity in Spain or Portugal. Do not even trust them if they send you official looking paperwork, as these forms are easily to find on the Internet and can be copied by anyone.

Official entities such as the Tax offices or Courts do NOT cold call anybody.

Paying to any official body or entity should never be to a PRIVATE bank account in the name of an individual!

The names of the new 22 new companies are:

Ace Holidays

Anglo Spanish Trade Association ASTA

Caceres

Civil Justice Courts Malaga

Conexión Voyages

Crystal Marketing

Euro Leisure group

Francisco Sanchez Gestores y Abogados

Freedom Keycard Network

Gold Crown Platinum Resorts

Legals Notaria Velez

McAllistar & Co

Notarieel Kantoor Miguel Cortes Ortega

Ordem Dos Notarios Portugal

Poveda Lawyers

Warrington Lloyd

If you have been approached by any company showing on our list, or any other one with offers related to your timeshare or holiday membership then please do let us know.

Thanks to alert consumers we can continue to place warnings on our web and avoid others to fall into these traps!

Have a great month of August!

I had an appointment to meet someone called David Taylor however I had a lot of missed calls and gather when I picked up a call just now that the David Taylor from Davis Howell who I confirmed my appointment with had rejigged his business and now I had to email the information to George at info@taylormarshall.co.uk and they would check if I had a case and then instruct JLCA Lawyers , the cost had risen from £1250 to £3000 .

  2. Tracy says:

Hi have had a meeting with someone from Taylor Marshall who have said that they can get us out of our contract with Diamond resorts & get compensation for mis selling . They want £2800 to get us out of they contract but will claim it back with the compensation . I haven’t parted with any money yet , some advice please

    • Brian &Nhelen says:

Just had virtually identical experience as Tracey above :has anyone else had dealings leading to a successful outcome with this outfit?
We would appreciate similar guidance to that requested by “Tracey”:-

      • Dave says:

Hi, I have also just had a similar call. Requesting a meeting and offering £2-3k to get out of my contract with option to go after the finance. Wouldn’t say how they got my number. What is the deal with these people?

      • Dave says:

I’ve also had a call from them saying they can get me out of the contract for £2-3k with the possibility of then following up claiming compensation. Wouldn’t say how they got my details and it didn’t quite seem right. Have you progressed your claims? How are they?

    • Fiona says:

Hi. We are currently having dealings with this company but haven’t paid any money yet. What was your outcome?

  3. Paul says:

Hi, my parents bought and used a timeshare for many years and were happy with it. It then changed hands and they through good money after bad at the new company who then went missing. They put it down to experience even though they are now in their 80’s and really need the money. Recently they have been cold called by ASTA (Anglo Spanish Trade Association) to reclaim money they paid via their credit card. Looking at the terms and conditions info (they charge 50% of any monies reclaimed!) is shows that the company behind them is Keycard Network Ltd, one of the companies on your list. Not sure where to go with this, is there any likelihood of a refund through a credit card provider?

  4. Paula says:

Was cold called by Chris from TESS (Timeshare Exit and Support Services) Tel: 01253 806529; info@tesssupport.com. Said they could liaise with my parents timeshare resort to discuss on their behalf if there is any possibility of relinquishing their timeshare back to them. If that is not possible they will then find a new owner who is happy to take over the ownership and all the future maintenance liabilities. He also said all our associates work on a no win/no fee basis. Payable only on exchange of contracts. Subject to a maximum of the equivalent of one years maintenance/management fee.

I read an announcement on Timeshare Consumer Association from TESS that a fraudulent operation is pretending to be TESS and cold calling customers and the matter has been reported to the Police for investigation. Looks like they are still going.

  5. Leslie says:

Just been cold called by Nicky at Crown Resorts. Asked why we had not used our 4 weeks entitlement due to being long term timeshare owners. The weeks were about to expire so needed to pay £459 plus vat to rebank! Said not sure what she was talking about. Passed to a more senior person, Laura who said they could reduce the fee after said could not afford to pay. She said the company was Skybreaks. Said would consult daughter and they are phoning back. Sounds very fishy.

  6. Joan says:

IN PERPETUUM ICL called me and wanted to visit me as I am disabled, I have not yet said a date to come ,but as they are on your list I will avoid them. can you send me a template of a letter I can send to section 75 to claim myself as I was told new laws are making it possible to claim back my money on this perpetuum time. thankyou.
    Joan
