Must sound really “important” when one receives a call from a person who claims to be calling on behalf of the main bank in Spain.
That is what happens when a consumer receives a call from Harris Claims Services.
The agent from Harris Claims Services is calling from a Spanish number +34 910051086 and states he has been appointed by the bank of Spain to contact consumers who have been victim of a fraud.
He explains that the company who defrauded the consumer has been taken to court and money has been awarded to the victims, and the bank of Spain is holding this money in their account.
Paying the admin fees and taxes of around €1500 will give the consumer a substantial pay out ordered by the judge and all this without the consumer even knowing this was going on!
As Harris Claims Services understands the consumer will be reluctant to such story, the agent even provides a telephone number of the Holiday Timeshare Watchdog 0203 813 9694 where the consumer can verify that this is all true.
Main issue here is that we have heard it all before!
And yet again we can confirm that there is no such company as Harris Claims Services in Spain, there are no court cases against fraudulent companies where money is awarded to the victims without the victim knowing there is a case, and last but certainly not least, there is no such thing as a Holiday Timeshare Watchdog!
So if you received a call from Harris Claims Services 0034 91 0051086 or were referred to this Holiday Watchdog on 02038139694 than please do let us know.

I got a call yesterday (01/08/18) from an 020 number but the caller was calling from Spain. He said he was head-hunted from the bank of Scotland by the bank of Spain to return monies to ones that had been defrauded by bogus companies. He gave me a web address of a newspaper report dated 05/07/2017 about huge stash of money found at a mansion belonging to one of these companies – http://www.wxpress.co.uk/news/world/825113 (there’s more but I’m in a hurry). He said his name is Ben Anderson and he will not be asking for any money whatsoever. He also said he’d call back today at 10:30 but first had to check my details, i.e. my full name, my husband’s and our full address explaining that he needed this in order to send the cheque. It’s only after I hung up that I remember that at the start of the call he’d told me that I’d have to have a solicitor to whom the cheque would be sent. The reason for the solicitor is that in the past people have denied receiving their cheque so now they do it through a solicitor. I was adamant from the start that there was no way on earth I was going to pay any admin fees or taxes so felt confident enough to hear him out. I now feel a little uneasy that I gave my full name and full postal address which I only did because he already had my sir name and my phone number so I concluded that he had the other details. Now, I’m not so sure.
